I brought my Verlandi back to dock in the Iridescence while Renata navigated the larger ship to dock back at the station.
As we disembarked from the Verlandi, Yumiko turned back to look at the ship with a wistful expression on her face.
"Something wrong?" I asked.
She shook her head, "Not at all. It's just… I can't actually believe I got to fly in and shoot the guns of an actual Verlandi."
I tilted my head at her, "I didn't know you were a fan."
"I think it is harder to find someone who isn't a fan than it is to find one, Mistress."
I shrugged, "I wouldn't know, considering… You know."
"Ah, I suppose that is true, my apologies, Mistress."
