The composition of the Red Chain was also similar to that of the meteorite that had injured Arceus a thousand years ago. By harnessing its power, they were confident they could restrain not just the Space-time Three Dragons, but even Arceus itself.
The lineage that Overcame Space-Time was not invincible.

The Galaxy Team had delved deep into the study of Sinnoh's mythology.

Capturing the Lake Trio was meant to summon the Temporal and Spatial dragons, but if the dragons appeared on their own, that step could be skipped. They wouldn't need to go to the Pillar of Spear and could proceed directly to the final step!
