The wall survived, and that was because of mercy from the source of the force that threw the butler against it, and not because it was hard enough.

As the butler slid down onto his rear, it was only then that his receptors received, and transmitted, the pain. His body twitched, while he forced himself to stand up, making barely any sound. He forced his chest to move to smoothen out the tightness there, and regain the basic ability to breathe unrestrictedly, before he moved back to pick up the tablet he had lost his hold on, and to stand where he had been before.
