Chapter 35 - PWA 35 The Prowess of Normal Type I [Rewrite]

Let's Begin the D-d-d-d-d-d-duel~!

"Go Zozo! I choose you!"

"Go, Spinda!"

"Zig gy zig~!"

"Spin da~!"

Following his command, a small, bipedal Pokémon with a pair of big mouse like ears on top of its head appears from the pokeball that is held on Lorman's right hand.

The Pokémon looks like a walking big mouse standing on two feet, both of its eyes are always spinning around like it is in an eternal set of confusion.

However, we all knows that it is just a ruse as that cream yellow coloured Pokémon with orange polkadots dotting all over its body have an ability called Own Kempo to prevent itself from ever getting confused.

Both my Zigzagoon and Lorman's Spinda have entered the battlefield!

"Fake Out!"

Before I give my command, the opponent already used Fake Out to make the Spinda move first by quickly attacked my Zozo and make it flinched from the surprise attack.

"Zozo, Mud Shot!"

"Spinda, Teeter Dance."

My Zigzagoon shot a lot of mud to the Spinda while the latter began to dance in an eerie tune.

Tch, I make a wrong move, I should let him used Dig instead.

Argh, whatever, since it is already come to this....

"Zozo, Defense Curl!"

Zozo that have been confused still managed to increased his defense.

Good, now is...

"Hmmm.... Focus Punch."

Oh, No!

The Spinda gathered its strength, then by focusing all of its power in a single spot, it attacked Zozo who is still curling up his body.

"Zozo! Dig!"

I attempted for Zozo to escape from the Spinda's Focus Punch by using Dig, but then his confused mind kicks in and he hurts himself amidst his own confusion.

Left defenseless against the incoming Fighting type move from the Spinda, Zozo immediately sweeped the floor with his fallen body.

.....

I returned Zozo back to my pokeball.

...

Ever since I have played Pokémon games from Crystal to Fire Red to Emerald to Platinum to Black and White then changing steers to the fanmade Moemon Games based on Emerald and Fire Red.....

Never before my Pokémon have been defeated so badly during my playtime.....

"Hmmmpppphhhhh....."

Taking a long and deep breath to calm myself, I immediately let Shion who was watching from my side and now seems to be very very eager to enter the ring after seeing her teammate got beaten so badly by the opponent.

"Woooo Xieeeeee~!"

Then without me giving her the Command, Shion have already rushed to the enemy!

Me: ∑( っ ° Д ° \;) っ

Lorman: !!???(°ー°〃)

Spectators: [Σ(°△°|||)︴]

Using a Quick Attack, Shion immediately smacked the Spinda brutally like a yandere girlfriend avenging her fallen boyfriend.

"Woo xie xie xie xie!"

Then she peppered the Spinda with Bullet Seeds on point blank range.

The Spinda who received such a surprise attack can not even make a single move before it is fallen on the floor, following the fate of its earlier foe.

"Woo xie xie xie xie xie~!"

My Shion laughed maniacally as the Spinda returned to its own pokeball.

"Your turn next, go Audino."

Yet another bipedal, standing Pokémon appears on the opponent's side of the field.

The Pokémon have a very cute appearance with her body coloured pink and yellow in almost equal proportion.

A pair of big, pink furry cute ears that ends with yellow "wings" on each of the tip and a Butterfree feeler like appendage adorned the top of its pink head.

Its eyes is blue, while the tip of its paw, its leg, stomach, and all the way up to half of her face from below have the color of pastel yellow.

Without me commanding her, Shion once again rushed to her opponent with a Quick Attack.

You know what?

I will let her do as she please, then.

In your opinion, what is the difference between a normal trainer and a Great Trainer?

In my opinion, the normal trainers are those run of the mill trainers who train their Pokémons to heed their commands and nothing else, leaving their Pokémons utterly dependant on their Trainer's beck and call.

Meanwhile a Great Trainer, in my opinion, is someone who can train their Pokémons to the point that their Pokémon can battle independently without needing to be commanded.

But, of course, if the situation calls for it, such as when their Pokémons can't win the battle by themselves, the Trainer themselves must also be capable of taking charge of the situation and commanded their Pokémons to Victory.

After all, unlike in the games where Pokémons are just a bundle of mindless and liveless data, here in PokeWack World they are real living beings who have thoughts, emotions and will by themselves.

To deny them the right to think and feel by themselves is, in my opinion again, a very inhuman and unpokemonly things to do as you rob their rights as a living and thoughtful creatures.

Okay, enough with the rhetoric, let's go back to focus on our battle.

My Shion is giving a good fight against the enemy's Audino.

She used a Quick Attack to recklessly smash the Hearing Pokémon, to which it counters with a Hyper Voice on point blank range.

Uh.... It used such a strong move right from the start....

No wonder this man can win 98 out of 99 battles so far against all the newbie trainers who challenged him.

His Pokémon are all very strong compared to the Trainers who are newly received their Pokémons, especially for someone like me who have only received my starter Pokémon just yesterday.

[ ] Author's Note [ ]

In my opinion there are no Weak Pokémon, only trash Trainers who can't groom their mons properly.

I myself have cleared Pokémon games and win against the Champion with Pure Normal Type Pokémons in my Team such as Miltank, Cinccino, Linoone and Stoutland in Moemon Flora Sky (I don't really remember what I used to win in the other series.)

😅😆🤣
