Shortly after Wyatt Perry left, Claudia Ross received a call from Nana Monty.
Nana Monty excitedly told Claudia Ross over the phone, "Claudia, I'm coming back to Rivile City on the 15th, we can meet again."
"That's great..." Claudia Ross forced herself to sound cheerful as she talked to Nana Monty.
"Jayden agreed to come with me to Mark Reed's wedding. Haha, I'm going to show those colleagues who used to joke that I couldn't get married how handsome my husband is. Hmph, just them, looking down on people."
After so many years as an older single woman, Nana Monty finally got to hold her head high.
"Hehe." Claudia Ross let out a chuckle, a sound steeped in deep bitterness.
Nana Monty, sensitive to Claudia Ross's unease, suddenly lost her smile.
Worried, she asked, "Claudia, what's wrong with you, are you feeling unwell?"
