"Get out, get out, get out, get out..."
Claudia Ross was still screaming. She didn't hear a single word Wyatt Perry said.
Seeing Claudia in such a state, Wyatt could only leave, deciding to wait until her emotions calmed down before trying to explain.
Before leaving, Wyatt gently patted Little Anne's head, instructing him, "You're a little man now. Take good care of Mommy, alright?"
"Alright," Little Anne nodded obediently, then angrily added, "Daddy, you're not allowed to make Mommy upset anymore."
"Okay, Daddy won't upset Mommy anymore."
"Swear it."
"Alright, I swear, I won't make Mommy upset again."
After Wyatt left, Little Anne climbed onto the bed, wrapping his tiny arms around Claudia. "Mommy, don't cry. Mommy, don't cry. Little Anne is here with you."
"Little Anne..." Claudia buried her face in Little Anne's chest, crying even harder.
Even her torrent of tears couldn't soothe the pain in her heart. Claudia cried until her voice disappeared, leaving only quiet sobs.
