Claudia Ross was in a deep sleep when her phone rang.
She groggily reached out, fumbling for the phone on her nightstand, struggled to open her eyes, found the answer button, and pressed it before bringing the phone to her ear.
"Hello..."
"Boss lady, something bad happened, the boss was taken by the police. They said he's suspected of murdering Charmoline Barton and needs to go back for investigation."
Hailey Jack's words were like a bomb, instantly blowing away Claudia Ross's drowsiness.
"What did you say?" Claudia Ross suddenly sat up: "Wyatt was taken by the police?"
"Yes, boss lady, I've already sent the lawyer with him, I'll be heading to the police station too, are you going, boss lady?"
Hailey Jack was sweating profusely from anxiety; if it weren't for the many things at the company that needed his arrangement, he would've followed Wyatt Perry to the police station immediately.
