"Don't say anything about dying, okay?"
Nana Monty feared hearing the word 'die' the most. Life was too fragile, the world too unpredictable, always full of unforeseen events.
"I can't even say I won't die?"
Jayden Maguire lifted his gaze, then realized people were watching him. He waved his large hand: "It's fine, stop staring."
The onlookers heard the lying man's voice was still strong, realizing there was no drama to be seen, dispersed like birds and beasts, and left the scene.
"You deserve it!"
Nana Monty suddenly laughed, poking his broad chest with her finger: "It's just like you, when you're injured, stay home and rest, who told you to follow me? You deserve it, totally deserve it!"
"I do deserve it!"
Jayden Maguire forced a bitter smile. Maybe he really shouldn't have looked for her, even seeing her, accompanying her to watch a movie or go shopping led to unexpected trouble, worsening his leg injury.
"Good that you know. Don't look for me again in the future."
