"My prince!" A guard called as he sudeey rushed in.
"Didn't I tell anyone not to disturb us, why are you here?" The king demanded angrily.
"It's the princess?" The guard said, trying to catch his breath.
"What happened this time? What new drama has she caused?" The king scoffed.
"She ran away." He said as Ryan frowned as he rushed forward and grabbed him by the collar.
"What do you mean and her maid? Why didn't you stop her?" Ryan asked furious.
"The maid left with her and when we tried to stop her she bit and kicked us, running out of the palace gates." The guard replied as he showed the prince where he was bitten.
"Did she take any guard?" Ryan asked as he tried to calm down.
"No! She left on foot." The guard replied almost breaking down once he saw his prince's face.
"Get the carriage and bring her back here no matter what she does, check the pub and Selane's house." Ryan replied as the guard nodded and went off to follow the prince's orders.
"I told you didn't I, that she's trouble and it's better you get rid of her before it's too late." The king said and left.
"Why are you always doing this Iris? Why don't you ever listen?" Ryan sighed.
IN THE GARDEN -
"My lady?" Josie called as she rushed forward to meet the cousins under the tree sipping tea.
"What happened?" Isabella asked as she placed her cup gently on the table.
"The crown princess ran away." Josie said as Tiana gasped.
"What do you mean she ran away?" Tiana frowned.
"Oh sister, it's nothing new!" Isabella chuckled. "She's just looking for attention since she's all locked up in that room all day."
"Isabella you can't say that she's pregnant and maybe it's just mood swings or something." Tiana said as Isabella laughed.
"Mood swings? Please stop! She's only an attention seeker, since the first day I met her at the ball." Isabella stated.
"Ball?" Tiana asked confused.
"Yes, she enchanted Ryan at the ball with just a dance and since then Ryan couldn't stop thinking and talking about her till he finally married her behind everyone's back." Isabella explained as she picked up the cup and continued her tea when she suddenly stopped.
"But there's still one thing that's baffling me, if they were indeed married, who joined them because they need permission from the high priest to get married and he didn't pass any information to the royal family that anyone got married." Isabella smirked, thinking of something.
"Maybe Ryan told him to keep it a secret." Tiana shrugged.
"Maybe, maybe!" Isabella smiled as she sipped her tea.
SELANE 'S HOUSE-
"Iris why are you here? You're supposed to be in the palace with the prince?" Madam Selane asked, worried.
"I don't want to go back there!" Iris replied firmly.
"But why? Isn't he nice to you?" She asked as Iris burst into tears. She wanted to tell Madam Selane about everything, about the contract, the fake marriage but she couldn't.
"I just want to stay for a little while." Iris said wiping her tears with the back of her palm.
