The two warriors moved to stand between Karl and the door, while the young man quickly escaped what was likely to turn into a heated argument about crafted items he couldn't afford, no matter what his account balance said.
Karl switched the rings that he was enhancing as one was finished to the Immortal Rank.
If he could hold out for a few more minutes, he would have a ring for each of them. However, by then, they were likely to have many more people in on the bidding war.
Perhaps he could get away with just giving them one and claiming poverty?
Tell them that it took days to make more, and they wouldn't have any way to prove him wrong, as they had no idea how he was making them, or what he was making them out of, as the material changed as he improved them to Immortal Rank.
It was a brilliant plan.
