Chapter 7 - Supporter Lily

After learning that a supporter is basically a temporary party member hired to increase the amount of monster drops you can bring back.

"Okay ,how do we find one?"

Apparently Bell thinks we waste too many drops with how good of a team we are ,so he insisted on trying to look for someone who had a big bag.

That sounded good to me at least. They could hold all the drops and we could hold the potions and dungeon diving supplies.

.....

After collecting monster cores and even item drops for an entire week. She was numb. Numb to everything about the Hestia Familia.

From the naive rabbit like Bell to the Soulless Monster ,Holo. She was so numb that her previous life had almost felt like an illusion compared to the past week.

She wasn't in the best of situations until now to be fair. She had been born into a familia ,who's god was obsessed with making and drinking wine all day.

Sometimes he would even make his followers test his creations as 'Trials Of Character'.

Up to this point ,she had been completely neglected. She had only seen her god twice ,when she got her falna and when she received her first and last status update.

After that ,her parents died in the dungeon and left her with a debt. Unfortunately ,the god had zero interest in her after her parents passed away.

That was when her life of abuse and pain had started. For the past week though ,she had received fair wages and hadn't seen a lick of discrimination towards her.

Bell was abnormally nice and Holo was unusually distant and reserved. It was a party of two opposites ,and yet when it came to the dungeon.

They were both fast. They fought in circles around eachother while slowly advancing before stopping to take breaks.

The more she saw Holo's 'Nail' ,as he calls it and how he uses it. She notices how much of a monster he is.

He was precise ,very precise. He seemed to always hit with every single strike. He usually finished off every monster with one or two hits.

He almost seemed to flow through the dungeon as if he was at home. His nail almost never stopped moving as long as there was a monster nearby.

He seemed as strong as some of the level 2 adventurers she had seen. The way his 'Nail' absolutely destroyed any monster in his path.

By the time I realized it ,we had made it to the 6th floor and my bag was filled with monster cores and item drops.

Even their drop rates were extremely high ,yielding items at least one item every two to three monsters killed.

I followed them as we traded in all the loot and as we left I wished this could last forever.

We divided the earnings sixty percent for them and forty percent for me.

It's not bad in fact ,it was amazing considering what other scum out there would do. Sometimes she would't even get paid.
