"Are you the one asking this?" Aurelia snapped. "Shouldn't you know better…as a Lord?"
"I know it's always worn for your safety but we didn't leave the palace so what was the need of wearing it that late?"
"That's not what you should be dwelling on. You have to help me come up with a solution."
"What solution?" Lord Ronan asked, trying not to lose his patience.
Aurelia suddenly stopped pacing. "Really? If the sigil is not found, this could cast doubt on everything. My status as Queen. Aedric's birthright—and mine. Even if the King doesn't consider me his queen any more, he has somehow not retrieved the sigil from me, so everyone still sees me as the queen. What will happen when I suddenly make an appearance without it?"
Lord Ronan stepped closer and said in a low voice. "We don't know that anyone's found it."
