Chapter 351 - Chapter 297-298 – Garp’s Arrival?

[Video (Real-Time Record): Crossing Reverse Mountain!]

[We're about to enter the Grand Line.]

[What kind of adventure awaits us in that so-called Sea of Devils?]

Makino: "Arton… he's already entering the Grand Line?"

Whitey Bay: "Damn it… I couldn't catch up to him after all."

Gion: "No… don't tell me, it's already too late?"

Vivi: "He's finally coming! Arton, please—let me find you. For Arabasta… for my father."

Nico Robin: "Come quickly, I'm waiting for you to take me to the Poneglyphs."

Charlotte Smoothie: "Either way, our distance from Arton is growing smaller."

Kalifa: "The Grand Line, huh? I wonder if I'll meet that man there… and if I do, what should I do then?"

Doll: "Wait, what's that fast-approaching object?!"

Gion: "That's… Vice Admiral Garp?!"

"Hm?!" Arton's brows furrowed. He suddenly turned his head to look behind him.

"Captain, what's wrong?" Kaya asked, puzzled.

"Trouble's coming," he said quietly. "Kaya, get back."

A sharp glint flashed in Arton's eyes. The next instant, a surge of bright blue-white light exploded from his body.

Nami, Carina, and the others at the helm immediately turned their heads toward him in alarm.

When the light faded, Arton stood before them—his skin pitch-black, both hands gripping twin guns.

Emiya Shirou—Alter mode?! Every woman aboard widened her eyes in shock.

This was Arton's strongest Emiya form—his Unlimited Armory manifestation. If he was bringing it out now, that could only mean one thing: a serious enemy had appeared.

"I am the bone of my sword…"

Arton raised one of his guns, aiming downward toward a fast-approaching figure streaking through the sky below.

"Arton, you brat! You actually kidnapped Zephyr's beloved student—and you even lied to me about forming some kind of music group! I'm gonna beat that nonsense outta you!"

A thunderous voice rolled up from below.

"Oh no… it's Vice Admiral Garp!" Ain's face went pale.

Though Garp had come to rescue her, Ain now wanted nothing less than to leave Arton's side.

Carina and the others stiffened. They all knew Garp's reputation—especially Uta and Carina, who had heard the stories of his raw, monstrous power.

Before they could even decide how to react, Garp's figure had already entered their field of vision—soaring upward with unbelievable speed, his colossal fist wrapped in dense, crackling black lightning.

That was the glow of pure Armament Haki.

Arton calmly poured every ounce of remaining mana into his twin guns.

But he knew—it wouldn't be enough.

After his earlier battle with Zephyr, his stamina was still depleted. A simple Noble Phantasm wouldn't stop Garp.

Fortunately, in Emiya Shirou (Alter) mode, he could transmute even the marrow within his bones into raw power.

Arton's eyes widened. The energy began to flow—his body ignited with golden light, his clothes tearing apart, muscles splitting under the pressure before being instantly sealed by streams of molten energy.

"...So as I pray—unlimited works shall be mine!"

Every drop of marrow energy flooded into the guns in his hands.

Even Garp—charging straight toward him—felt the sudden, ominous pulse of danger.

Arton opened his eyes, his gaze calm and unwavering.

"Unlimited Blade Works!"

He pulled the trigger.

The bullet—compressed with the entirety of "Unlimited Blade Works"—fired forth at blinding speed, arriving before Garp as if space itself had already decided it belonged there.

Garp's eyes went wide. His fist, wrapped in thick Haki, slammed downward against the incoming bullet.

BOOOOM!

A blinding explosion tore across the sky.

From the epicenter burst countless swords and massive, grinding gears, scattering in all directions.

The once-clear sky twisted and bled into a world of black and crimson—a landscape like a battlefield soaked entirely in blood.

"What the hell is this?!" Garp roared.

He hadn't expected that one clash would detonate an entire world—a miniature reality filled with infinite blades.

Within moments, the blast swallowed him whole, sending the old hero hurtling toward the far horizon—until his figure vanished completely into the crimson world of Arton's Unlimited Blade Works.

Chapter 298 – Garp Defeated, Gion Breaks Down

Arton glanced in the direction where Garp had vanished, then slowly lowered the guns in his hands.

A faint blue glow washed over his body, and within seconds he reverted to his original form.

"I… need to rest for a while. Ka—Kaya, I'm counting on you…" With those barely spoken words, Arton closed his eyes.

"Arton!" Kaya caught him in her arms, shouting in alarm, but Arton had already fallen fast asleep.

As he drifted off, the real-time recording of the video feed ended abruptly.

"Everyone, keep moving!"

"Get us into the Grand Line—now!"

"Kaya, take care of Arton!"

Carina snapped back to focus, shouting commands before activating the powers of her Yae Miko template.

With divine energy crackling around her, she propelled the ship forward at terrifying speed.

Nami, Nojiko, and the others quickly followed suit, each lending their strength.

The ship surged ahead—its velocity now bordering on the impossible.

In mere moments, the vessel climbed over the crest of Reverse Mountain, crossing into the waters of the Grand Line. But even that wasn't enough.

Nami and the others channeled their abilities, manipulating currents and wind alike, forcing the ship to continue flying through the air for several more miles.

They all understood: Arton was in no condition to fight.

It was up to them alone to steer the ship and escape before the Navy regrouped.

Meanwhile, Kaya rushed Arton below deck to tend to him.

Elsewhere, dozens of women holding copies of the Diary had just watched the feed end.

Each froze—faces tight with concern and anxiety.

Charlotte Galette: "The video's gone?! Damn it, what's happening over there?!"

Ulti: "Don't tell me Arton got captured by Garp?!"

Yamato: "No way! That man's the one I recognized as my equal—he wouldn't lose so easily, especially not here in East Blue!"

Black Maria: "The Navy sure went all out trying to stop him—sending Zephyr first, then Garp right after."

Stussy: "But even they couldn't imagine that Arton possessed such terrifying power. Not even we, as Diary holders, could've guessed."

Kozuki Hiyori: "He used Emiya Shirou (Alter)'s Unlimited Blade Works... a single bullet containing an entire world!"

Charlotte Smoothie: "A world exploding point-blank... even a hero like Garp couldn't walk away from that unscathed. If that old man died there, I'd say good riddance."

Makino: "Vice Admiral Garp… no, he… he couldn't really be dead, right?"

Whitey Bay: "With Garp's strength, he won't die that easily—but he'll be feeling that one for a while."

Vivi: "That flying ship—was that Arton's crew? No! They're leaving the area—I have to catch up to them!"

Mikita: "Catch up? At that speed? You gotta be kidding me!

Zala: "This could get troublesome. I didn't think we'd reach this point so soon…"

Nico Robin: "Looks like we'll need Baroque Works' informants to track their current position."

On the other side.

Gion closed the Diary interface and snatched up her Den Den Mushi.

"Please… pick up, Garp." she muttered, frowning deeply.

As if her prayer had reached him, a weak voice soon came through the line. "This is Garp… speaking from the infirmary."

"Garp! What happened?! Did you catch Arton?"

"Huh? How'd you know I ran into that bastard?"

"Forget that! Just tell me—did you catch him or not?!"

A brief silence… followed by a low chuckle. "Heh… they got away. Hahaha…"

"Got away?! What the hell do you mean, they got away?!" Gion's voice rose into a furious yell.

Near the waters of Reverse Mountain, Garp lay half-submerged, his body bloodied and torn.

Multiple gashes covered him, and his left leg had a massive hole punched clean through—a wound that went straight from front to back.
