Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Rebirth

A quiet breeze rustled through the vast forest of the Land of Fire. Rays of sunlight pierced the canopy, scattering warm light over a boy lying on the ground—unmoving, clothes torn, breathing steady.

After a moment, his eyelids twitched.

He woke.

He opened his eyes to… trees. Lots of trees. Tall, thick trunks, leaves waving in the wind, distant bird calls echoing through the forest.

No ceiling. No bed. No phone buzzing beside him. Just wilderness.

"Okay… first step: don't panic."

He slowly sat up and looked around, scanning the area like he'd seen in survival videos. Dense forest. No human structures. No roads. No sign of civilization. And no explanation.

"What the hell…?"

He stood, dusting himself off. His clothes were torn, like he had been dragged here. His body felt sore, but nothing broken.

He woke.

"Okay… first step: don't panic."

Suddenly, a surge of memories rushed into his brain. Information flooded his mind—about this world, and about himself.

Apparently, his name was Ren Uchiha. He was, undeniably, in the Naruto world. Specifically, Ren was a Chūnin and a member of the Uchiha Clan Police Force. His father was a Jōnin Squad Captain in the same force, and Ren currently served under him. His mother was a retired Chūnin.

From the memories, he understood that his parents doted on him.

Recalling the way he had gone home: After entering the house, he opened the door. A voice came from the kitchen: "Go and wash up. Your father will arrive soon, then we'll have dinner."

He went to his room. After taking a bath, he came down to the hall. He hadn't processed everything yet; his mind was absent-minded.

Suddenly, he fell into a warm embrace. His mother hugged him and said, "You look too tired today. Is everything okay? You don't have to overexert yourself."

As an orphan in his previous life, there had been no one to wait for him at home or genuinely care for his well-being. Seeing this genuine concern, this new warmth spread deeply inside him, making the current moment feel infinitely precious.

Shortly after, his father also came home. Seeing his mother hug him, his father asked, "Is everything alright?"

Ren simply replied, "I just overexerted myself."

His father beamed and said, "Keep it up! Soon, you'll become a Jōnin."

His mother's face darkened instantly. His father immediately changed his words, correcting himself, "Actually, you don't have to work this hard. You'll definitely become a Jōnin eventually."

(Despite being stronger than his mother, Ren and his father still feared her.)

After that, they were having dinner. Ren looked at his parents, recalling his past memories, and remembered the impending disaster: Itachi Uchiha was going to kill the entire Uchiha clan.

He couldn't let his parents fall under Itachi's sword, but he was far too weak. He only had a one-tomoe Sharingan.

Despair and the fear of losing his parents overwhelmed him. His eyes switched to the Sharingan on their own. A single tomoe began spinning in both eyes. Suddenly, it became two, and then three. The tomoe began spinning faster and faster until a distinct pattern appeared in both his eyes, like three arrows extending outward from the centre.

He felt a liquid trickle down his eyes, and his eyelids felt heavy. The last thing he saw was his mother reaching towards him before he fell into her embrace and fainted.
