" I leave Jaber to you," were Sindbad's last words before he ran off somewhere, leaving Aladdin to check on the infirmary.
" You're leaving what exactly to me?" the man muttered, looking at the scene waiting for him before the infirmary's door. Bodies were piled on either side of it, while a single man sat down cross-legged on the ground, leaning against the double doors. " There's nothing left!"
Seeing that the man didn't move at all, Aladdin ran over to him. " Jaber! Are you okay?!"
" Just taking a breath." He raised a tired face and looked up at the newcomer. " I take it the prince has made his decision."
" He did," Aladdin said, extending his hand out for the man, who took it thankfully and stood up on his feet.
" And that damn menace? Is he okay?"
Of course, the first thing he would be asking about would be Sindbad. It seemed it had taken quite the effort to convince Jaber to let him fight with his wound.
