" It was King Shapur's last order to us. That should he ever perish, we're to side with you without any questions and serve you faithfully."
Arslan's eyes widened at that. " Shapur… did… but why?"
The man's frown deepened, and he uttered two words. " For Pars."
" Side with Prince Arslan?"
It was clear his men were taken aback by the sudden order he had given.
" Yes. Should I ever die while my cousin is alive, you will serve him, no matter what. Do you understand?"
