During the dinner, Lu Yunxi's phone notification sounded. She picked up the phone and saw it was a video call request from Lu Shaoyuan. She quickly reached out to accept it, happily calling out, "Second Brother, Second Sister-in-law!"
"Xi'er!"
Lu Shaoyuan reached over to hold Luo Yao, smiling as he asked, "Is everyone doing well?"
"Yes, everyone's good! Second Brother, we're having dinner at Mom's today, only you and Second Sister-in-law are missing! You guys..."
Before Lu Yunxi could finish her sentence, Yan Ruoxi impatiently snatched the phone away, "Shaoyuan, you rascal, still know how to contact us!"
"Mom!"
Lu Shaoyuan laughed and replied, "The village doesn't have internet. We only got internet after hitching a ride to the city. Rest assured, Luo Yao and I are fine here! In another three months, I'll bring Luo Yao back to City V for the delivery!"
"Mom!"
Luo Yao leaned shyly against Lu Shaoyuan and called out to Yan Ruoxi, who nodded repeatedly, "Oh! Oh!"
