The flight attendant sitting next to Mu Xinlan saw her staring blankly at her phone and couldn't help asking curiously, "Xinlan, your phone keeps ringing—why aren't you answering it?"
"Oh... sorry! I disturbed your rest!"
Mu Xinlan snapped out of it, quickly reached out and pressed the answer button. She pressed her lips together and asked softly, "Hello?"
In her head she was randomly guessing why Cheng Zhiming would be calling her at this time. Ever since she left the villa, they hadn't been in touch.
"Xinlan-jie... Aunt! It's Angel!"
Hearing Angel's voice, Mu Xinlan let out a breath of relief and answered, "Oh, it's Angel? What's up, why are you calling big sis?"
She hadn't noticed that Angel had already changed the way she addressed her and was still calling herself "big sister."
"Aunt Xinlan, I miss you so much!"
Angel raised her voice into the phone again, and only then did Mu Xinlan notice that she'd changed the way she addressed her.
