What is an undead?
Does it sound like an easy-to-answer question to you? If so, congratulations! You are either the pinnacle of genius or someone who thinks themselves very smart for being a slight bit smarter than average.
It is perfectly fine to be in the second category–As long as you are willing to be proven wrong, of course–I will tell you about what undeath really is when stripped to its barest form.
We are in luck in this quest. Loimos exists, and he is literally The Pure Undead. The purest one there is. In simple terms, he possesses all of the qualities an undead should have. He has all the quirks and advantages, but none of the weaknesses. Some people even believe him to have been created by the Pale Lady herself.
