Rictus slowly opened the door and laid his eyes on Maddie.
She saluted and then spoke, "I have important information I need to share with the general."
Rictus turned his attention to the surroundings, checking for anyone else.
Seeing no one, he stepped to the side letting her in.
She entered the room and her eyes were immediately drawn to the dead body Ambessa currently stood over.
Ambessa looked at her in suspicion, "Your orders were to stay with the young Kiramman."
"They will not realize my absence." She answered, "Both her and the Zaunite girl have gone on a solo mission to capture Jinx."
Ambessa walked back to her chair and poured herself another cup of tea. "Then what brings you here?"
"Information." She answered, "I have something you need to know."
"What information could possibly be important enough for you to jeopardize your entire mission?" Ambessa asked as she took a sip. Her eyes finding Rictus's as he stood behind Maddie ready to restrain her if anything seemed wrong.
"There is a new party involved." Maddie spoke, "A group of people. A family of eight. Five children and three adults."
"What makes you think that they are something we should be worried about?" Ambessa asked intrigued, moving to take a sip of her tea.
"Their last name." Maddie answered, her voice beginning to shake, "Hastur."
The cup halted mid air as Ambessa's attention shifted back to Maddie. Behind her Rictus stiffened.
"Hastur?" Ambessa asked leaning forward. "Was there an older man with them?"
Maddie nodded, "The father."
"Brown hair and eyes?" Ambessa asked.
"The hair was graying but yes." Maddie answered.
Ambessa turned her attention to Rictus, "Seems like some things work in our favor after all and it seems he did find his daughter and a few more children along with her."
"If he is here-" Rictus began.
Ambessa interrupted him, "Then we make him keep my daughter safe though that will take some incentive for him to do so." She downed her cup, "The lives of his children perhaps?"
She then tapped her cup, "Soldier you are relieved off you duty and your mission. Instead you are to trach down Gregori Hastur and tell invite him to a meeting."
"Is he really the Hastur?" Maddie asked.
Ambessa smiled, "He has many names but Hastur and The Gray are the most common."
Maddie's eyes widened. She had heard of The Gray's actions on the battlefield. "They are the same person?"
"Indeed." She placed her knife to the side, "How my son found that diamond in the rough I will never understand."
Maddie stood still from shock.
"Soldier you are dismissed." Ambessa said as she rose to full height, "Rictus.... let us go make a deal with Salo."

Vi and Caitlin walked into a large open space having followed Jinx's markings. The space was held up by giant pillars all covered with blue and pink drawings of Vi and Jinx's past. In the back was a large mural. A fog hung over the space as if hiding its secrets from them.
She looked at the drawings on the pillars, "Cait." Memories flooded through her, "If you see and opening..... take the shot." She began walking forward.
"Vi!" Caitlin said reaching for her, stopping her in place. But no other words came out. The two looked into each others eyes and Vi continued walking forward.
Walking into the center of the space, Vi readied her Hextech Gauntlets and called out, "JINX!" Her voice echoing off the empty walls.
"Finally got the name right." Jinx's voice answered.
Vi swung around trying to figure out where the voice was coming from.
"Guess there really isn't a crack in the earth where you won't find me." Her voice continued.
Vi kept alert, her attention on the voice, "What is this place?"
"Don't you remember the old Janna bedtimes stories that Vander used to tell us?" Jinx answered, her voice changing like that of an actor on stage, "Miners trapped underground! Air running thin! But then some wispy wind woman wafts tot heir rescue."
Her attention split off to the mural.
It was of a woman with a staff, her hair flowing as if pushed by a breeze.
Jinx snickered, "Wild the kind of crap people get up to when you choke them out."
Vi felt the knife in her words, "We used the Gray to clear the streets. To keep people safe."
"We." Jinx echoed, "Never thought my sister would turn bluebelly."
"Never thought mine would orphan kids." Vi fired back.
"Ha!" Jinx snorted, "Why not? Done it to myself enough. But plastering my face all over so someone else would do your dirty work? Poisoning our air? She left out a sharp whistle, "You turned a leaf, sister."
"I'm done blaming myself for your mistakes." Vi replied, "You killed her.... I'm not letting you stain her memory anymore."
Jinx walked out of the fog and into vision, "Then...stop me. 'Cause no matter what I do.... I just can't seem to die."
From her spot behind a bunch of rubble, Caitlin loaded her sniper rifle and aimed it at Jinx.
"I'm sorry." Vi whispered as she braced.
"I'm sorry too." Jinx replied sadly.
CLINK
BANG
Caitlin fired, circular runic inscriptions forming over the barrel sending the bullet rocketing toward Jinx.
BONG
"Hehehehe!" Jinx began laughing as the bullet pierced a hole in the metal on which her body was reflected onto. The circular metal disc fell over and rolled toward Vi.
From up on the rafters, Sevika spotted Caitlin move to a new cover. To her side, crouched low was the deaf girl. Isha. A name Jinx and Sevika had decided for her.
Sevika then began walking toward her.
Jinx's voice echoed, "I knew you were soft on her.... Hope you got to... Ya'know.... before..." She let out a couple maniacal chuckles.
Vi grit her teeth, "I'm ready." She said, more of an assurance to herself.
CLICK
She turned around and made eye contact with her sister, standing with a large gun above a bunch of rubble.
Caitlin placed her crosshairs on Jinx once more, pulling the switch on the barrel she felt the bullet slide into place. Her finger was on the trigger when all of a sudden something blocked her sight.
THUMP
Sevika stomped the gun out of her hands and then swung her new arm at Caitlin's head.
CRUNCH
The floor cracked from the impact but Caitlin rolled out of the way. She shot to her feet and watched Sevika cock her fist back sending a punch her way.
In the distance, Jinx raised her gun and let loose a hail of bullets. In response Vi kicked up the metal disc beside her and held it up, shielding her from the bullets. She could feel herself be pushed back under the hail of bullets and in a moments decision, he pulled back and punched the disc, sending it flying at Jinx.
Jinx stopped firing and spun around dodging the disc as it spun off to the side.
Using the distraction, Vi leapt at her sister, gauntlet cocked and slammed it into her. Without hesitating, Jinx raised her gun and blocked the punch.
Both the sisters fell to the ground from the momentum.
But without missing a beat both of them rose back to their feet. Jinx began firing as she raised her weapon at Vi but she was too close, as she grabbed the gun and began to rip it apart.
Jinx fell to the floor and tried to crawl away as Vi raised her gauntlets to finish the job.
CRACKLE
Vi's gauntlets returned to their original weight as they dragged her fist to the ground, the Hextechinside going haywire. She tried to move but the mechanism had latched onto her hand and wouldn't move despite her efforts.
Jinx scrambled behind the rubble to where she had stashed her next weapon. A rocket launcher. The very same she had used when she blew up the council. She raised it at her sister and fired.
Watching this Vi desperately tried to free herself but failed continuously and then-
CLICK
The gauntlet whirred back to life as she dodged by a hair's breath.
BOOOM
The wall behind them blew up sending Sevika and Caitlin flying into the rubble.
A few second later, Jinx stood in front of the mural and raised her her rocket launcher once more.
BOOOM
The Hextechpowering the weapon exploded sending her crashing into a pillar.
Vi shot to her feet and began running toward Jinx and after catching her breath, Jinx did the same.
The two met at the center and began scrambling for the upper hand, Jinx's petite figure dodging blow by inches and Vi's gauntlets blocking any punches.
Jinx slid under a swing and sent a punch at Vi's stomach, knocking the wind out of her, she raised her elbow and slammed it into the back of her head twice.
BANG
Her assault stopped.
Jinx stated at her hand. Her middle finger now missing, leaving behind only a cauterized knob glowing a light blue.
In the distance, Caitlin stood, her gun smoking as she pointed it at Jinx once more. But this time Sevika stood right behind her.
Noticing the lack of movement Vi leapt for Jinx aiming to tackle her into the ground.
THUD
THUD
THUD
THUD
All four participants fell straight to the ground, unable to lift themselves.
"What is this?" Vi grunted.
Jinx growled through the pain, "This isn't your doing?...."
"ARRGGHH!" Vi yelled trying to push herself up but she didn't move an inch.

Footsteps echoed as someone entered the space.
"I got to say..... Old Zaun had quite the art industry by the looks of it." A voice rang.
