Chapter 21 - "Kurenai and Kakashi witness Ryuji's brilliance: a fight full of surprises and strategies"

Ryuji's chakra gradually increased throughout his body. Under the dark sea of insects, the light of his White Fang sword shone like a moon, illuminating the surroundings.

Kurenai's face grew serious. Although Ryuji hadn't yet unsheathed his sword, Kurenai could see someone else's shadow based solely on his momentum.

"Kakashi! That's it! It turns out that we, Team 8, are the whetstones!" Kurenai suddenly understood what Kakashi intended with his deception. But instead of being angry, she felt a little happy.

Ryuji was too arrogant and could easily fall if he kept advancing without stopping, but Kakashi wanted Ryuji to experience defeat. Kurenai wanted her team to roll and learn.

Class 8 had just been established, and although they knew each other, they had never truly cooperated. The boy Ryuji, who was the same age as them, inspired the greatest fighting spirit in the three of them. Their combat characteristics could be revealed at once, which could save Kurenai from taking many detours. Originally, this was a competition where everyone won, and Kurenai couldn't blame Kakashi.

"It's time to end this."

At that moment, insects from all over the sky rushed toward Ryuji as if the sky were falling. Although Sasuke wasn't in the center of the battlefield, the shocking pressure left him breathless.

"Shino, who normally doesn't say a word, is so strong! Even Ryuji is no match for him."

At that moment, the White Fang in Ryuji's hand shone to the extreme. The insects instinctively felt an unprecedented sense of crisis, but, controlled by chakra, there was no possibility of escape.

"Let's go!"

Ryuji's eyes suddenly opened, and a sharp gaze made the entire swarm of insects tremble. Then, Ryuji moved. But he didn't turn around and run away, but instead ran towards Shino, towards the center of the swarm of insects.

"What is this kid doing? Is he crazy?"

Although the swarm of insects was controlled by Shino, he had just graduated from the ninja school. If the control wasn't proper, there would be no way for Ryuji to escape in the middle of the sea of insects. Even if Kurenai wanted to save him, she might not be able to do it in time.

"Kakashi, how long do you want to hide? Come out quickly!"

With Kurenai's shout, Kakashi could no longer hide and appeared directly in front of the members of Team 7.

"Hey! Ryuji-kun! You all seem pretty motivated!" Kakashi said as he stuffed his book into his ninja pouch.

"You still have time to greet elegantly, so go and stop Ryuji."

"I can't do it," Kakashi said weakly. If he had come out a few seconds earlier, he would have had a chance to stop Ryuji. But at that moment, the momentum of the White Fang in Ryuji's hand had reached its peak. If he wanted to stop Ryuji, he would probably have to pay a high price. Instead of stopping Ryuji, Kakashi had more confidence in knocking out Shino.

"Surrounded!"

Kakashi, who had always been calm, grew serious as well. Ryuji was now surrounded by a sea of insects, and the situation inside was completely invisible. If the swarm of insects got out of control, Ryuji would be devoured to the bone in an instant, and no one outside would feel a thing.

At that moment, Kakashi lifted his forehead protector, revealing a blood-red pupil. Kurenai trembled all over. Although she hadn't had much contact with Kakashi, she knew his iconic moves very well. When Kakashi lifted his forehead protector and revealed his Sharingan, it meant he was serious.

"Sasuke, get ready to use a fire jutsu." "Alright!"

Sasuke, still surprised by Kakashi's Sharingan, responded quickly. He then placed his hands on his chest, ready to form hand seals and perform ninjutsu. Kakashi nodded and then turned to look at Kurenai.

"Kurenai, if anything gets out of control, you decide!" "Don't worry, I don't want anything to happen to this kid."

Just after Kakashi finished assigning the task, he was about to act when suddenly a fierce and murderous aura emerged. Then, three white lights lit up in the twisted The broken gap revealed Ryuji's smiling and confident face. Kakashi's mouth twitched. He had carefully planned the rescue, but it ended before it could be implemented. Suddenly, Kakashi felt very tired, but he couldn't help but praise him. In such a desperate situation, Ryuji had found a way out. Without talking about fighting power, just talking about his character, he was material for a superior ninja.

At that moment, Ryuji was surrounded by a sea of insects. Shino had used all his insects to surround Ryuji, leaving few insects to protect himself. Seeing Ryuji approaching, Shino hastily controlled the swarm, hoping to trap him again.

"I got him!" Shino's face was ecstatic, but then it paled again. Unlike the others, he knew exactly what was happening inside the sea of insects. For that reason, his face turned pale: inside the swarm, there was no sign of Ryuji.

"No good!" Shino turned his head unconsciously and saw the swarm moving towards him like crazy.

Ryuji crouched behind Shino, an inexplicable smile on his face.

"Thousand Years of Death!"

With a shout, everyone present covered their key parts with expressions of fear on their faces.

Shino flew more than ten meters before falling to the ground, his face streaked with tears. Without his chakra control, the swarm of insects mutinied, attacking each other non-stop.

Anyone in the swarm would turn to bones in an instant. Fortunately, the swarm dispersed after a while of turmoil. The sun, which had been covered by the insects, revealed itself again, returning light to the area.

The three members of Team 8 had lost their fighting ability; only Hinata Hyuga was still standing.

Ryuji slightly raised the corners of his mouth, making the gesture of the thousand years of death, and walked towards Hinata step by step. Hinata's heart skipped a beat, and an expression of fear appeared on her face. She covered her vulnerable parts with both hands and backed away.

"There's no way he can attack Hinata. Hinata is a girl," Team 7 mocked in unison. Hinata continued to back away, accidentally stepped on a stone, and fell to the ground.

"No, Ryuji-kun!" Ryuji smiled maliciously, then reached out his hand and touched Hinata's forehead. "It's okay, you lose!"

[Ding dong! Hinata's preference increases by three points! The preference level is now sixty points! The record is available!]
