The airship was large enough to carry two hundred passengers and a lower hold full of freight.
Rod still felt every movement.
He stood at the rail while the Granite Wing crossed Corathen, watching roads become pale threads beneath them. Farms gathered around towns. Towns gave way to forest, then returned on the far side in patterns too large to follow from the air.
The newly formed party had departed before sunrise. Two hours later, the mountains ahead appeared no closer.
"You can sit down." Lana said.
"I am enjoying the view."
The deck shifted beneath a crosswind. Rod tightened his grip on the rail as he felt his stomach twist.
Dirk remained close enough to hear them while pretending to study the mountains. Nessa sat on a cargo chest with an open medical guide. Dain had chosen a place beside one of the airship's upright supports, where the motion affected him least.
Lana leaned against the rail next to Rod.
"It is a good view." She said.
