[3rd POV]
A couple of days had passed since Gwen had absorbed the Pantheons of the other world, and during those days, she had done a few things.
For one, she had increased the security in Malzif a decent bit, in order to make sure that it would be safe while she was gone from the multiverse for the couple of weeks that she planned on being gone for.
She had also made sure to alert the various security forces for Malzif of her leaving for a couple of weeks, which included the council. She had to make sure that they knew, as she was the biggest and most important defense to the city, and with her gone, the rest of them would have to pick up the slack.
Sure, she had clones, but she preferred to be absolutely certain about this sort of thing.
Hence the preparation and the way she's been upping the security even more so than before, with the entire planet now being surrounded with all sorts of wards, defenses, and traps to stop anyone from entering when they aren't supposed to.
This was primarily because of the Gods, who she knew for a fact were trying to figure out where she was, and how to get to her. And if they were to find out that she was on Mars, they would flood the planet and attempt an invasion in order to get rid of her, someone who was becoming a threat to their power over their domains.
And these wards were to stop that from happening, being anti-divine domains that would cut off the divinity of any invader that attempted to attack the planet. Basically, it was the ultimate defense against the various pantheons, and would work on almost all of them.
It was enough...hopefully.
And now she was prepared, as she stood at the front of the council building, her girlfriends standing around her, and the council all watching her.
"Two weeks, correct?" Xavier questioned, as Gwen nodded.
"Should be. At most we'll be gone for a month. I've already got thousands of my clones spread around the planet, and I've upped the defenses to account for anything that might happen, so you should be fine. BUT, if anything does happen that you need my help for, alert my clones and we'll be back in an instant" Gwen responded, as Xavier chuckled.
"There is no need, Gwen, we will be fine, that much I am certain of. You have created the safest planet in the universe, and have literal millions of defenses prepared to keep us all safe. It would take quite a lot to break through, so I highly doubt anything will happen" Xavier replied with a smile, as Gwen just hummed.
"Can never be too safe" Gwen said simply, as Xavier just stayed silent, amusement in eyes as Gwen just huffed upon seeing everyone looking at her with similar eyes filled with amusement.
Looking at her girlfriends, Gwen spoke "You girls ready to go?"
"Yep!" M'gann said with an excited nod, as the rest of the girls all nodded as well, with Jean seemingly being a little more nervous than the others, but not enough for Gwen to hesitate, as a golden glow began to warp around them, and she spoke to the council one more time.
"See you all in a couple weeks!" Gwen spoke, as the group disappeared in a flash of light, leaving the council alone in the area.
"She really does overestimate how much danger we can get into within a couple of weeks, doesn't she?" One of the versions of Storm spoke out, amused with the fact that Gwen had made literally millions of defenses for them.
"She does. But I suppose it just means that she really cares for all of us" Xavier responded, as the rest of them just smiled fondly, before beginning to make their way back to the council rooms. With Xavier wheeling back to the building, one thought on his mind.
'...Have fun Gwen'

Reappearing with a flash of light, Gwen let out a sigh as she stretched herself, as the girls stumbled as usual, with Jean stumbling the most. This was the first time she had done a proper multiverse trip, so she was definitely not enjoying herself as she fought back the urge to throw up everywhere.
"You alright there, babe?" Gwen asked, looking at Jean as she began to help with the nausea that was assaulting her birdy.
"Y-Yeah, just a little nauseous. You were right though, this is not a very fun feeling" Jean responded, as Gwen just let out a small laugh, while the girls giggled at her grumbling.
At the same time, Gwen was glancing off into the distance.
'...Seems they've noticed me again' Gwen thought, feeling the gazes of a number higher beings staring down upon her, but unlike last time they had done this, she was not afraid of them, not anymore.
She was preparing to fight against entities that made even the Endless look like worms, she could not afford to be afraid or hesitant near or around beings that were much weaker.
At the same time, she was also sensing some of her targets for gathering as well. Like the various emotional embodiments, like Ion and Parallax. She hoped to at least claim Ion and Parallax for herself, as they were the ones that were most in tune with her, but she did also want to claim Adara, the embodiment of Hope.
Either way, she had a bit to do in this universe, and a few others in the greater DC multiverse.
"So where are we?" Jean asked, after catching her bearings and regaining control over herself.
"We're in Gotham at the moment" Gwen responded, as she stretched her senses around the city and smiled. She was pleased to see that crime was still nonexistent even after she had been gone for a year, and it was actually improving thanks to the ideas she had given her father in regards to what he could do for the city as Bruce Wayne.
She would make sure to give another much better list of ideas for her father this time, as she already had a few million ideas on what he could do to make this place better. The same could be said for things that could be done to improve the Justice League and its home base.
The group began to walk out of the alleyway that they had been hiding in, and began to walk through the streets of Gotham, as the girls looked around in surprise.
"Man, this place is way better than I remember last time" Artemis commented, finding that it wasn't nearly as bad as it used to be.
"Yeah, I gave pops a few schematics and plans for things he could produce to improve the city. Looks like he's been using them well. And then Lex has also likely been helping too" Gwen responded, remembering that she still had Lex Luthor under control, and had ordered him to improve the human race, making everyone's lives better.
He'd likely been doing a lot for them, as it was said that he could bring about a utopia for the human race in the comics, if he had used his intelligence for good instead of trying to kill Superman at every turn.
With that explanation done, they nodded in understanding, as they continued to walk through the city, with Gwen having one thought on her mind.
'...Let's hope dad isn't too mad'

That's the end of the chapter!
Basically just some talking and such, there's gonna be a lot of that in this arc, so be prepared for that.
She'll be seeing her dad and brother for the first time in like 2 years (for her) next chapter.
Anyways, have a good day!
