Elvis smiled on seeing that, who knew how much more powerful he would become simply just by participating in his first rift, although he had to admit, fear was growing in his heart.
Yes, it was easy for him to level up now, but the more he leveled up the more EXP it would take for him to get to the next level.
And the more he ascended the harder it would become for him to kill the descenders there, slowly it would surely get harder for him to level up.

The Xlorkan race were the worst kind of people to ever exist, Elvis was only lucky because he was an ascender , those who were not ascenders suffered.

Humanity was just a source of labour to the Xlorkan's it was clear they came to rob Earth of all it had and when they were done, they would just leave.
A portal was opened for the group to walk out of the rift which they did.
The group continued to walk together, it was already 7 PM so they didn't feel like ascending anymore, and with their mutations and enhancements, they didn't need to sleep anytime soon.

Emax and Elvis both declined instantly, there was no use in partying.
"Come on, all drinks on me. " Rohan said, forcing them all to agree.
Rohan proved to be a master of the streets, navigating through buildings easily and soon they had entered a dark alley.
"Hey kid, those blades of yours, how about I take them off your hands? " Rohan asked with an excited tone.
"Sorry, it is not for sale, they were very hard to forge. " Elvis said with a suspicious expression on his face, he looked at Emax nodding his head.
"That wasn't a request. " Rohan said, turning around, with his wires extending out of his fingers.
Sasha had her bow aimed at the duo and the old man had a malevolent smirk on his face as he started at them.
"It looks like they must be new ascenders, they really thought they could make friends with us. " The old man said bursting into laughter.
Emax didn't even flinch, instead a green shield extended out from his watch.
"You filthy poor mutants, how do you feel knowing that you are no longer human, you are practically aliens, what makes you different from the Xlorkan's? " The old man said with a smile on his face.
"We must purge the world of mutant alien scum. " The old man said, readying his blaster.
