Chapter 814 - Chapter 814: Creating a World and Moving Forward

Chapter 814: Creating a World and Moving Forward

After leaving the Ancient Heavenly Palace, Xiao Ze began preparations to create a new realm within Tianluo City. His goal was to establish a headquarters for the Origin Realm, requiring meticulous effort and an abundance of rare materials.

For a Heavenly Sovereign, opening a small spatial domain wasn't particularly difficult. In the original story, the Western War Emperor had created three smaller spaces as battlegrounds for the selection of continental champions. While these spaces were referred to as "small," they were capable of hosting battles involving hundreds of Earth Sovereigns, far surpassing the strength and scale of realms created in lower planes.

Xiao Ze's plan for the Origin Realm's space was far more ambitious. It needed to serve as a central hub for countless resources, precious sites, and future developments. The construction couldn't be rushed or careless.

The Plan for the Origin Realm

The space had to be robust enough to withstand battles at the Heavenly Sovereign level, ideally at the Celestial grade. Additionally, a grand protective formation would be implemented to repel external threats. Xiao Ze didn't expect to build defenses capable of withstanding attacks from Saint level Heavenly Sovereigns overnight, but the foundation would support gradual improvements.

Building the Space

After several days of work, Xiao Ze completed the creation of a vast space spanning millions of miles. He invested rare materials to establish a Grandmaster level spiritual formation that could withstand attacks from Spiritual Heavenly Sovereigns, even without his direct intervention. With time, he planned to enhance its defenses further.

Standing in the sky above the new realm, Xiao Ze waved his sleeve, scattering numerous treasures and resources to strategic points throughout the formation. He then unsheathed the Heavenly Emperor Sword and made a slash through the void, forming a spatial passage. From this portal, he summoned a vast, flowing river the Celestial River from the Ancient Heavenly Palace and placed it in the heart of the realm.

Mandala Appears

Just as Xiao Ze completed his work, a spatial rift appeared beside him, and a girl in a black dress stepped through it was Mandala.

"You've certainly been efficient, creating such a vast and sturdy world in such a short time," Mandala said with admiration as she surveyed the new realm.

Though creating small spaces was manageable for a Heavenly Sovereign, achieving such magnitude and resilience required exceptional spatial control. Mandala, despite her own strength, knew she couldn't match Xiao Ze's feat.

Xiao Ze explained his plans for nurturing talent within the Origin Realm.

"We'll need to cultivate our own loyal powerhouses. While external experts are helpful, there will always be concerns about their allegiance. The realm's resources can serve as rewards for alchemists who join us. They'll be allowed to train here, but only if they contribute by refining pills or earning merits."

Mandala nodded. She was familiar with Xiao Ze's strict yet fair leadership style, knowing he wouldn't grant privileges without merit.

An Invitation Declined

Xiao Ze then asked, "I'll soon head to the Floating Tuo Continent to participate in the Ancient Tuo Clan's Clan Martial Gathering. Would you like to come along?"

Mandala hesitated before shaking her head.

"No, I'll stay and focus on stabilizing the Origin Realm. This is an important period for its growth, and we can't afford to lose direction. I'll attend the gathering another time."

Her reasoning was sound. The Origin Realm's rapid development required oversight to avoid missteps that, while not catastrophic for Xiao Ze, would still cause unnecessary setbacks.

"Fair enough. I'll leave the Origin Realm and Dou Qi Continent in your capable hands," Xiao Ze said.

Mandala rolled her eyes.

"You just promised the Heavenly Emperor you'd look after me, and now you're piling all this work on me?"

Xiao Ze coughed awkwardly.

"Circumstances demand it. I trust you understand."

Mandala sighed but didn't refuse. Their relationship had evolved significantly since their first meeting in the Great Thousand World. Though Xiao Ze treated her with the same respect as before, she had only begun to see herself as his equal after reaching the Heavenly Sovereign level.

A Heartfelt Farewell

"Don't worry, I won't shirk my responsibilities," Mandala finally said, pressing her fingers against her temple.

"Thank you," Xiao Ze said sincerely.

Mandala glanced at him with a complicated expression.

"You don't need to thank me. Do you act this formal with Xun'er and the others too?"

It was the first time she had brought up Xun'er in front of Xiao Ze, despite knowing about her from the reports of subordinates. Xiao Ze hesitated briefly before patting her head with a warm smile.

"You know I didn't mean it that way. I'm just worried about overburdening you."

Mandala took a deep breath, her expression softening.

"I wasn't trying to bring them up intentionally."

"It's fine," Xiao Ze said, ruffling her hair playfully. "Eventually, Xun'er and the others will be publicly acknowledged as the Origin Realm's mistresses."

Mandala gave him a look but didn't respond.

"Take care of things here. I'm off," Xiao Ze said before vanishing in a flash of light.

Mandala stood silently, watching the space where he had disappeared. Her eyes sparkled with thought.

"Maybe I should meet the other mistresses of the Origin Realm someday," she murmured.

The Floating Tuo Continent

The Floating Tuo Continent was one of the Great Thousand World's ten supercontinents. Dominated entirely by the Ancient Tuo Clan, it was a testament to their immense power and influence. Their monopoly on the continent's vast resources had only deepened their already profound foundation over countless years.

Despite this exclusive control, no one questioned their right to claim the entire supercontinent. As one of the Great Thousand World's most ancient and powerful forces, their authority was unquestionable.

As the Clan Martial Gathering drew closer, representatives from major superpowers flocked to the Floating Tuo Continent, filling it with excitement and anticipation.
