CAMADA'S POINT OF VIEW.
-First it turned from trying to mediate in an argument that suddenly spun up between Taki and Hana, to other people attracted by the noise coming in, to someone suggesting to tell a story-
"Three hundred years ago, our world as we knew it then was about to be drastically altered after just one encounter; it was just another ordinary day and everyone was going on about their normal activities when, all so suddenly...spontaneous volcanic-eruption level explosions began to burst out of nowhere, and these were followed by obscure portals springing up from in the sky..." She clears her throat slightly;
"From these portals emerged horrifying creatures that sought and hungered to destroy humanity... and thus began the Great Disaster..." The storyteller pauses with a smile.
Meanwhile, we; the listeners, are a study in silent, stifling tension;
Our eyes fixated on her emanate absolute apprehension;
-The room is dark contributing to the atmosphere-
"Then... what happened?" Someone speaks up when the silence stretches too long;
Our storyteller smirks in superiority;
-Afterall, she holds knowledge we don't have, but which we would love to possess-
"Civilisation was torn down, entire continents wiped out...humans were barely hanging onto life, summarily... the world ENDED."
-A collective, scarcely palpable gasp flutters through us-
I imagine living that kind of life, where everyday is like a Screening session.
"It would be a hundred years later, that a gift which would liberate us would be bestowed upon us..." she carries on while picking lint from her dress;
-Is this the bit where humans developed essence and discovered abilities?-
"Essence is energy that is spun from three elements; life force, energy and human need"
-I am presently befuddled-
"Life-force and energy are self explanatory elements, so I'm going to talk about the main component of Essence" she pauses glancing across us.
-Although I would like for everything to be explained-
"Human need is the main component of Essence, every Ability type is modelled after a certain human need; humans need water for a couple of uses, therefore water abilities, humans also need fire for countless reasons as well, therefore; fire abilities, humans need to move around, prompting the requirement for transportation, therefore; Telepathy abilties."
She allows her words sink in.
"The incredible amount of energy stemming from profound human need complimented by strong life force and adequate energy levels gave rise to Essence which induced Abilities in humans..." -Pause-; "Therefore, humans pushed back against these creatures, and three courageous individuals, titled great Dieties... succeeded in sealing the three Great-Chaos beasts! thereby restoring relative tranquility to the world" she gesticulates wildly;
-She's not just telling a story, her excitement almost makes it seem like she's re-living it.
"And now, we Mages...and Reverreds are responsible towards maintaining this peace by keeping these beasts in check...and someday, when the Great-Chaos beasts reawaken-" "-Wait, wait, wait... hold up! The Great-Chaos beasts are re-awakening?!" someone interrupts.
Our storyteller sighs deeply;
"They might not even re-awaken in our generation, so just calm down Krebu..." she declares.
"Well, they can wake up for all I care... I'll be ready to kill them anyway" Hana proclaims optimistically.
-What the hell is she saying?-
I stand up from my seat on the floor and trudge to my room.
-From this whole story, I can only attest to understanding one thing; as long as the Great-Chaos beasts don't awaken in our generation then it's all going to be easy going for me-

HYDE'S POINT OF VIEW.
"Let's introduce ourselves shall we?" Lord Fenice urges cheerfully.
It's a meal table and;
-Honestly I would prefer to gobble up the delicious meal placed before me, but...I'd rather not look too pathetic-
"Uh... I'm Hyde"
The glaring looks I'm getting aren't exactly cheering.
-Only Faria offers a small smile-
"Well, I'm Fenice..." Lord Fenice buzzes like we never knew before.
"And the rest of you, introduce yourselves one by one" he adds.
Faria goes first;
"I'm Faria"
-Silence-
Mic snorts; Lord Fenice hears this and points at him;
"And how about you my good fellow?"
Mic gets up, hunched over; "I'm Mic" he mutters flatly.
-Uh, like I care-
The man with the horn in his head arises gracefully;
"I'm Horn" he bows curtly.
-Yeah, that name is pretty befitting-
"I'm Mighty..." The woman with the enormous muscles and barely any clothes blurts.
"Clot... I'm Clot..." Mr depressed who wears an obnoxious, grotesque mask quivers.
The last person; my agemate with an aura of entitlement refuses to speak;
Lord Fenice groans as he waves a hand at him;
"You never introduced yourself..."
He gets up, scowling with his nose turned up in the air;
"Everyone, except of course this loser..."
-Wait, is he referring to me?-
"My name is Roky and I'm a CHOSEN..." he adds with a flourish;
"Lord Fenice here assured me that the Reformation has a stringent policy against pathetic losers, so it still baffles me that this repulsive individual joined on the same day I did..." He pauses, waiting for his words to register; "So, I'll just have you know that I-"
-If he joined on the same day I did, then why is he so noisy? Chosen or whatever he is, he has no right to abuse me-
I access his appearance; he has the most peculiar colour of hair, a half of his hair is a deep grey that almost comes off as brown and the other part is black;
-Skunk-
He keeps on blabbing and I'd rather be eating.
-I start digging into my food while he carries on prattling-
He stops midway in his sentence, taken back by my actions and nonchalancy.
Lord Fenice chuckles; "Now that we've all familiarised...shall we eat?" He suggests.
The Skunk is visibly embarrassed that I didn't give him the attention he sought for, as he sits down in a grumble.
-I might not hate it here after all-
I feel Skunk's gaze intently on me, no, on my new arm.
-A sort of longing lingers in his eyes.
-Is he by any chance...jealous of my new arm?-
I chuckle for the first time in a long time.
Everyone's attention turns to me in puzzlement.
-No, I'm definitely going to get a whole lot of reasons to laugh as a member of the Reformation-
HYDE'S POV END.
NETYISHA'S POINT OF VIEW.
I reach out and thump on the door.
It is almost instantly opened up.
But instead of Mr Hood, I see a teenage boy.
-Has he finally gotten himself a servant?-
We lock eyes.
"Hooded one, you have a visitor" the boy mutters into the room, his eyes not leaving mine.
-No servant would be so familiar-
"Oh...who is it?" I hear Mr Hood approach the door.
Once he sights me, he opens up the door wider.
"Ah! Rev Netyisha, what an absolute pleasure!"
As I walk in, I almost regret my decision of visiting.
-I still feel upset, but thank goodness for rationality; I've thought things over, and it's usually better to dialogue before concluding on matters-
I take a seat by Mr Hood's reading table as I usually do.
Mr Hood disappears inside.
-I turn to see the teenager still standing by a corner; come to think of it, what is he doing here anyway?-
"Well, then Rave...we could carry on with this later on... right now I have a visitor" Mr Hood calls from within his bedroom.
-This singular act of dismissing someone else for me appeases my growing apprehension-
The teenager, or Rave? gives a half shrug before walking out the door.
Mr Hood emerges from within and he steps to his reading table.
"Rev Netyisha, I must say it's been quite a while...I was wondering why you'd disappeared for so long" he says with a small laugh.
I exhale deeply;
"Am I permitted to be as straightforward as possible?"
He chuckles; "Go right ahead"
I bite inside of my cheek and rub my clammy hands together;
"It's about the time I met Mayter here...-"
Mr Hood bursts into a peal of laughter, automatically cutting me in.
"W... what's so funny?" I undertone seriously.
"Is a mere hunch what distanced you from me?" He quizzes, and eventhough I am unable to see his eyes, I feel his piercing gaze on me.
"Mayter is my primary suspect for creeping up on me, and you being familiar with her obviously perked my nerves up!" I shriek.
He laughs; "I never knew I owed such obligation of not associating with some people, to anybody"
My fists clench;
-I was so stupid for relying on him in the first place-
I stand up to leave;
"You have got one fiery temper haven't you?" He blurts good-naturedly.
I grit my teeth as I pull the handle of the door.
-It refuses to open up-
I turn to glare at Mr Hood;
"You better open th-" I stop in my sentence as I see him gesture for me to come sit down.
I take a deep breath and drag myself back to the seat.
Mr Hood sits on the table right in front of me;
"You need to understand quite a number of things about me"
