So about another week or so had now passed since me and Sakura had transformed the Shadow Card into yet another Star Card. And this had also been how long since me and Sakura, had both had to use the Shadow Card, to find Madison. Who for reasons that we still weren't able to understand, had wound up getting lost at Tomoeda Elementary during the night, when me, Sakura, Li, and Kero, had once again sensed the presence of Clow Reed.
But as for the current moment, this wasn't exactly on either me or Sakura's mind. Because, well...
"Okay seriously? I may have heard about art imitating life, but this is just ridiculous! Not too mention way too literal!" I had proceeded to shout out in a very clearly fearful sounding tone. But then...
"We can discuss more about your fascination with art later Zachary, because right now we have much more important things to worry about!" Meilin had proceeded to exclaim over to me with, in what was clearly a very not happy sounding tone.
"Oh I'm sorry Meilin, I didn't plan for a bunch of penguin statues to come to life out of seemingly nowhere now did I?! I mean do I look like a psychic or a clairvoyant to you?! Not that a magician in this case doesn't count viewers. Oh right, Zachary here sorry about scaring you all just now with another thought based fourth wall break out of the blue like this. But yeah, I think that you can clearly tell, that I am still not really a fan of Meilin when she talks to me like she just did. I mean you would think I would have been used to it by now! But alas viewers, even after Meilin helping me and Sakura with the capturing and sealing of the Fight Card as well as the Twin Card. I still sometimes tend to find Meilin intolerable at times. But while I have your attention for the moment viewers, let me just say that you're going to like what is coming up in the far future chapters of this fanfic. Now I won't spoil anything too major for you viewers, but lets just say, that..." I had proceeded to think to myself, which during this, I had proceeded to turn my attention slightly over to my left side, in order for me to briefly address the viewers. But unfortunately, before I could finish the rest of my current thought based fourth wall break moment...
"Zachary, behind you!" Kero then wound up shouting over to me. And just as I managed to look behind me, I managed to just be able to pickup my running pace just a bit more. Which was just as another of the numerous penguin statues had tried to attack and ram themselves into my back. And this was also while, Sakura, Li, and Meilin had also been forced to just manage to dodge out of the way of several more of the penguin statues.
And once again, this was now seemed as though the site around the big penguin slide at Penguin Park, what was now another instance for when me, Sakura, and Li, had all sensed the presence of Clow Reed again. And as aforementioned, the penguin statues had been the source of the most recent explosions, that me, Sakura, Li, and Meilin, had all just been forced to dodge out of the way of.
And once again, as neither me or Sakura wanted to waste anymore time. As we knew that now would be a better time more than any to pull out our respective keys. That is what we both went ahead and did. And it was then that me and Sakura then pulled out our respective Star keys. "Key of the star, with powers burning bright, reveal the staff, and shine your light, release!" Me and Sakura both proceeded to chant together in unison.
To which as the all too familiar feeling and sensation of sand and wind proceeded to blow quite fiercely around me and Sakura. To which our respective Star keys proceeded to quickly expand into our respective Star staffs. To which me and Sakura proceeded to quickly grab hold of them with a quick overhanded downward grasp. To which we both then proceeded to briefly twirl them, and then strike our respective battle ready poses.
And, with our respective staffs now in hand. I then quickly proceeded to pull out the Freeze card. And this was since an idea had just come to my mind for me and Sakura to use the Freeze Card, to freeze all of the penguin statues in an effort to destroy them. Thankfully, I wasn't going to need to say anything to Sakura. Because upon me proceeding to pull out the Freeze card, Sakura had seemed to quickly catch on to my idea. And so without either of us having to exchange words between one another.
And once I had proceeded to throw the Freeze Card up into the air, me and Sakura both then raised our respective Star staffs. "We call upon the power of our stars, ancient forces near and far, Freeze Card discard your former might, and draw your power from our might, Star Card!" Me and Sakura both proceeded to chant together in unison. Which as the wings on each of our Star staffs proceeded to expand and grow outwards a little bit. This then prompted the Freeze Card to stop spinning, which was then quickly followed by the new design to show up on both the front and the back of it. Which was blue on one side, and pink on the other. And as the Freeze Card spirit appeared, and quickly proceeded to freeze all of the penguin statues. Which wound up effectively destroying them. And just like that, another crisis had been averted. However, even though this was the case, we all knew, besides Meilin of course, that this was far from being over.
