So about a week or so had now passed since me and Sakura had transformed the Shield Card into yet another Star Card. And this had also been how long since me and Sakura, had both had to deal with neither Keroberos or Yue, being able to transform back into their civilian forms.
But as for the current moment, this wasn't exactly on either me or Sakura's mind. And as for why this was currently the case? Well you see, about that, because as for what it was that was currently on my mind that was currently a much higher priority. Because, well...
"So me and Sakura seem to continue to grow in magical strength and power for every Clow Card that we seem to transform into a Star Card. And yet, why do I feel that there is more to this then just that? Come to think of it, I have noticed that Julian has started to become far more tired then he usually is. And yet Yue doesn't need to eat, as he appears to get all of his magical strength from the moon. Wait hold on a second here, I completely forgot about 'her.' Well 'she' is just as strong as Sakura is. I mean I can't even begin to fathom how an encounter like that would work. I mean as far as I can tell, 'she' isn't exactly part of this particular anime timeline. But still, why do i feel like that is something that might wind up changing at some point. No pull yourself together Zachary, you can't just go jumping to conclusions like that! But then again, that could wind up being a very interesting encounter to see take place for real. Darn it, you need to focus on not losing your balance Zachary!" I had proceeded to go and think to myself, as me and Sakura continued on one of our usual rollerblading run to Tomoeda Elementary. And I was only just able to not lose my balance on my roller blades, as I was able to snap out of my thought based stupor with only a split second to spare. And as me and Sakura continued on our way to school, little did either me or Sakura realize, was that my thoughts about me, Sakura, and the most monumental 90s magical girl of all time, was going to wind up being more then just a mere thought. But more on that at a much later date.
And now fast forward to a short time later to when me and Sakura were present in one of our many daily school classes. Well when I say that...
"Dang it, why can't I...wait...what the heck...did I just fall asleep?! Wait, why am I in some kind of hallway right now?! Wait hold on a second here, why am I wearing this outfit? And why..." I proceeded to think to myself. Only for someone to then start to speak up from partway down the hallway that I was currently in. And just after the voice had proceeded to speak up, I wound up taking notice that Sakura was also present beside me, standing just over to my right side. And I knew that she had been standing over to my right side, because right after the voice had spoken up. I took notice of Sakura then proceeding to slowly make her way through the right side of my current line of sight. To which I had then proceeded to follow her down the hallway that we were both currently in. But what I was also able to notice about Sakura, was that like me, she was also currently wearing what appeared to be one of Madison's battle outfits.
And as for what it looked like? Well, her battle outfit had three main colors, which were yellow, white and red. The costume appeared to consist of a body suit, dress and cape. The dress was white and the skirt also appeared to be split at the waist to show the bodysuit. But there also appeared to be a gap along the center of the dress where you could see the rest of the bodysuit. The tip of the skirt was yellow and had two yellow buttons on the front of the skirt. The bodysuit was red and it also appeared to widen at the waist. The cape and the rest of the outfit appeared to be held together by a large yellow collar, with two yellow buttons on the front, as well as a red star. The edge of the collar appeared to be serrated, and the collar had a white and yellow rimmed fabric overlapping the cape, bodysuit and dress. The cape also appeared to be very long and extends to just above the ankles. The inside of the cape was red, while the outside of the cape was white, and the bottom of the cape was yellow, and was rimmed with two large red stars on either side of the cape. The boots of the outfit were knee high, and on the top of the boot, there was what appeared to be a pad of yellow, and on the rims of the boots, the rim appeared to go outwards. And it was also yellow, and rimmed with two buttons on either side. And finally, the hat that Sakura was wearing was cylindrical, and it was also white and yellow, as well as rimmed. And on both sides of the hat, there were two more buttons.
And the only difference between my battle outfit and Sakura's, was that mine was dark blue, light blue, and had some gold accents on several parts of it, where the red were on Sakura's battle outfit. But, before me and Sakura could venture down the hallway any further, the scene went bright white out of nowhere, and the dream ended.
Only once I had opened my eyes again, I was now left with more questions then I had before I had suddenly fell asleep during the class. And I also noticed that Sakura was just as confused and bewildered about it as I currently was.
But for the time being, we both decided to pass what had just happened to the side.
But fast forward to later that night, as me, Sakura, Li, Madison, and Kero had found our way back to the school, after me, Sakura, Li, and Kero had once again sensed Clow Reeds presence...
"You have got to be kidding me right now, just how does Madison just up and vanish like this?" I had proceeded to say in what was clearly a somewhat frustrating sounding manner. Now for some context on what had just happened, me, Sakura, Li, Madison, and Kero, had all followed a basketball, that seemed to have a mind of its own. And this was due to it somehow being able to bounce all by itself. But after we had followed the ball in and out of one of the classrooms, did we then realize that Madison had simply vanished. And it was only then that we realized that she had wound up getting trapped in the classroom that we had all just exited out of. Only once we had attempted to try and reenter the classroom, we found that Madison was no longer in there. And that was the reason why I had said my statement in the tone that I had said it in.
And now me, Sakura, and Li, had to find some way to find Madison. But this as it turned out, was going to be a little bit difficult, and when I say that. What I mean is, well...
"Why don't we just use the Through to..." Sakura had attempted to try and say that if we used the Through Card to pass through the wall, that we may wind up finding Madison. But Kero as it turned out, had his doubts about me and Sakura using the Through Card to try and find Madison. And as for Kero's reasoning...
"Yes while the Through Card allows the user to pass through solid objects, there is still a risk that you can both wind up getting stuck forever if your power is not strong enough to pass through the object's thickness," Kero proceeded to say back over to Sakura in response. Which sure enough, wound up with that idea of using the Through Card getting scrapped immediately. As neither me or Sakura, wanted to risk using it, for fear that one or both of us would wind up getting stuck forever. But thankfully, I was quick to come up with another idea, and hopefully this one wasn't going to end up being another dud.
"Wait hold on it's currently nighttime out right? So Sakura why don't we use this to our advantage?" I then proceeded to say with a somewhat cheeky looking smirk on my face. And before Sakura could ask me what I had meant by my statement, she noticed that I had already pulled out the Shadow Card. And that was why Sakura didn't bother to ask me what my idea was. And so with this in mind, both me and Sakura proceeded to transform the Shadow Card into yet another Star Card.
And as I then proceeded to go and throw the Shadow Card up into the air. And as it spun in place above me and Sakura, we both then once again proceeded to raise our respective Star staffs. "We call upon the power of our stars, ancient forces near and far, Shadow Card discard your former might, and draw your power from our light, Star Card!" Both me and Sakura proceeded to chant together in unison. Which as the wings on each of our Star staffs proceeded to expand and grow outwards a little bit. This then prompted the Shadow Card to stop spinning, which was then quickly followed by the new design to show up on both the front and the back of it. Which was blue on one side, and pink on the other. And as the Shadow Card spirit appeared, and then proceeded to envelop both me and Sakura. It didn't take long for both of us to be able to pinpoint where Madison currently was. And as me and Sakura grabbed for the sliding door of the classroom that we had exited from not but a minute or so prior. We both then proceeded to quickly slide the sliding door open. And sure enough, standing in front of us both not that far from the door, was Madison.
And while Sakura went to give Madison a hug, I simply continued to stand there with a clearly relieved smile on my face. And given that me and Sakura had just transformed yet another one of the Clow Cards into yet another Star Card, I had every right to be happy.
