So about a week or so had now passed since me and Sakura had transformed the Float Card into yet another Star Card. And this had also been how long since me, Sakura, and Li, had all gotten trapped inside of an elevator. But thankfully with me and Sakura's quick thinking, we had been able to save ourselves from getting injured, or worse.
But as for the current moment, this wasn't exactly on either me or Sakura's mind. And as for why this was currently the case? Well you see, about that...
"How is it that none of us can sense the presence of Clow Reed anymore? I mean we had been sensing his presence only a minute ago when we got here, so what gives?" I proceeded to say. And as for where me, Sakura, Li, Madison, Keroberos, and Yue all were? Well as it would happen, we were all currently right near the penguin slide in Penguin Park. But only now, as for the presence of Clow Reed that me, Sakura, as well as everyone except for Madison had sensed, was now gone. So for the moment at least, me, Sakura, and Li, had all decided to just brush this off as a kind of false alarm so too speak.
But, as we all turned around and headed back to our respective houses, neither me or Sakura realized, that in only a short time from now. We would both once again wind up getting tested.
And now fast forward to a short time later...
"What the, why didn't either of you change back just now? What is going on here?" Sakura had proceeded to exclaim in what was clearly a worried sounding tone to her voice. And the reason as to why me and Sakura were not both freaking out? Well due to some currently unknown reason, neither Keroberos or Yue were able to change back into Kero and Julian. And this, was only the start of our problems.
"Well Sakura, at least neither Tori or dad are here. Which for further context viewers, yes this is Zachary here. Anyway viewers it has been quite a bit since I spoke to you through a fourth wall break hasn't it? Well viewers, I did say that I would only be doing these fourth wall break moments on rare occasions. But mind you viewers, as you will be soon reading about much later on in this fanfic..." "Uh yeah Zachary, I don't think that the viewers need to be made aware of what they can expect to read later on in in this fanfic. I mean after all viewers, there needs to be some sort of an incentive for you all to want to continue reading, isn't that right Zachary?" "That's true Sakura, how could I forget. Now then viewers, what do you say that we get back into the chapter now, okay?"
And now fast forwarding to later that night. And once I had proceeded to come up with the idea for me and Sakura to try and use the Shield Card to try and get Keroberos and Yue to be able to transform back into Kero and Julian. I then turned to Sakura, and then proceeded to give her a nod, to which Sakura then returned the nod back to me to indicate that we were both ready. And as I then pulled out the Shield Card. Both me and Sakura then proceeded to go and pull out our respective Star keys.
"Key of the stars, with powers burning bright, reveal the staff, and shine your light, Release!" Me and Sakura both chanted in unison. And after a sever gust of wind and sand. Both of our respective Star Keys expanded into our respective Star Staffs. Which was then followed by both of us then proceeding twirling them, and then finishing off with our usual battle ready poses.
And as I then proceeded to go and throw the Shield Card up into the air. And as it spun in place above me and Sakura as we continued to fall down the elevator shaft. We both then once again proceeded to raise our respective Star staffs. "We call upon the power of our stars, ancient forces near and far, Shield Card discard your former might, and draw your power from our light, Star Card!" Both me and Sakura proceeded to chant together in unison. Which as the wings on each of our Star staffs proceeded to expand and grow outwards a little bit. This then prompted the Shield Card to stop spinning, which was then quickly followed by the new design to show up on both the front and the back of it. Which was blue on one side, and pink on the other. And as the Shield Card spirit appeared, and then proceeded to quickly form a barrier around Keroberos and Yue, I then chose this opportunity to speak up.
"Okay now try to transform back," I proceeded to say to both Keroberos and Yue. And sure enough, as they both expanded out their respective pair of wings. To which both Keroberos and Yue proceeded to cover themselves with their own wings to transform back. And after a brief flash of light, both Keroberos and Yue had managed to successfully transform back into Kero and Yue. And more importantly in order for Julian to not be suspicious, Kero wound up doing his usual routine of pretending that he was a stuffed animal. And as for me and Sakura? Well we had proceeded to quickly change our respective Star staffs back into our Star keys. And it was only then, that I knew that both me and Sakura were now one step closer to changing all of the Clow Card into Star Cards.
But, even though me and Sakura had now once again managed to transform yet another one of the Clow Cards into a Star Card. Neither of us actually knew, that our magical journey was only just beginning. And more importantly, as we would wind up learning at some point in the future, our situation was only at least one fourth, of what was actually a much larger picture. But, that is something that is for a far much later date.
