"Correct."
Within the space created by the Will of Light's Origin, Kong and Gu Yuena did not conceal anything. They nodded directly in admission.
Even the Will of Darkness's Origin could see their situation. For the Will of Light's Origin, which stood at the same level, there was no reason not to. When she finished, Gu Yuena shifted slightly, signaling for Kong to continue.
Kong did not hesitate. "And recently, it cooperated with someone named Tang San. As for why it chose such a useless person, none of us know."
"Cooperation? Tang San? A useless one?"
The Will of Light's Origin murmured softly, then explained, "The Will of Darkness's Origin governs all darkness, while I govern all light. Thus, when we are grievously wounded and require great time to recover, we can choose to cooperate with a being whose heart shares our attribute. If that one's cultivation reaches its peak, then we too may recover our peak. But…"

Kong and Gu Yuena exchanged glances, both deeply puzzled.

This universe could exist without the Will of the Universe's Origin, but it could never exist without light and darkness. For it was they who truly upheld the balance and stability of all things.
Hearing this, Gu Yuena and Kong both fell into silence, unable to find words.
