Ever since "Adam" fell into slumber, Konan was mentally prepared.
Six hundred billion explosive tags — that was what she had prepared for this moment!
Moreover, combining explosive tags meant summoning one tag with another using chakra. With her current chakra, she could barely double the amount.
A total of one trillion two hundred billion explosive tags — the blast power generated would last a whole hour.
The terrifying heat alone could completely evaporate even a small lake!
If used in war, Konan alone could destroy one of the Five Great Nations!
If there was a downside, it was that Konan couldn't control the explosion's range.
If she could compress the power of six hundred billion explosive tags into an extremely small area, the destructive force would rise exponentially.
Even a Six Paths-level ninja could be killed by it!
The coastline was lit up by blinding white light.
Endless explosions roared, drowning out all other sounds of the world.
Visible strong winds swept along furious tidal waves, like an angry god unleashed.
The terrifying shockwaves pierced through the clouds, tearing apart the dark clouds hanging over Rain Village.
Unimaginable amounts of seawater evaporated, forming scorching hot waves rolling toward the shore.
Reefs shattered, and the cliffs by the sea crumbled.
A hurricane hundreds of meters tall screamed violently, roaring and howling like a dragon's roar.
This scene looked like the end of the world had come!
Yahiko used his last chakra to activate the "Shinra Tensei" in front of Konan, blocking all the blast aftershocks.
However, the cost was that Nagato's chakra was completely drained, leaving him unable to control the Six Paths of Pain temporarily.
"Is it... over?"
Konan knelt halfway to the ground.
Her stunning face was pale and drained of blood, sweat pouring down.
In fact, for this final move, she had used up all her chakra and spiritual energy.
Now, even moving a finger was a luxury she couldn't afford.
As the tsunami gradually calmed and the explosion's chaos settled, Konan hurriedly looked toward the sea.
The ancient gray-white dragon seemed completely shattered into pieces, leaving behind only a vast pool of blood that stained the entire sea red.
The sea level had been cut down by several centimeters, and thick steam rose into the sky.
"It worked."
Konan could no longer sense any spiritual presence.
By all appearances, White Zetsu had truly died just now—among the twelve trillion explosive tags, his body had been utterly destroyed without a trace!
Yes, he must be dead!
Konan took a deep breath, firmly believing in this outcome.
The answer was simple: even a demi-god of Sequence 4 could not survive continuous bombardment for a full thirty minutes from twelve trillion explosive tags!
"It's over, Konan."
Suddenly, a hand rested gently on her shoulder, and a soft voice said, "You did very well. That guy has been defeated by us."
It was Yahiko.
"Yes, it's over."
A faint smile of relief appeared on Konan's pale face as she turned to look toward the Rain Village. "Fortunately, it didn't affect the Rain Village—only those I killed."
"Don't think like that, Konan."
Yahiko comforted her softly, "If it weren't for your decisiveness, more people might have died, right?"
"Thank you, Nagato."
Konan's heavy heart lightened a bit as gratitude appeared in her eyes toward Yahiko.
"Tired?"
Yahiko squatted down with a smile. "Just like before, I'll carry you back."
This feeling hadn't appeared in a long time.
Konan stared blankly at Yahiko, who was half crouching, and memories stirred in her mind.
"What's wrong?"
Yahiko turned and asked.
"No, it's nothing."
Konan held back tears welling up in her eyes and smiled gently, then rested on Yahiko's back.
"Are you cold?"
Yahiko carried Konan on his back, walking step by step toward the village, softly asking.
"No, it's warm. Thank you, Nagato."
Konan quietly leaned against Yahiko's back and rubbed affectionately. "Just like before, Yahiko carrying me, and you beside us. It feels good."
"Mm, I won't let anyone destroy this."
Yahiko still smiled softly as he carried Konan forward.
The distance from the battlefield to Amegakure village was far.
When choosing the place earlier, Konan deliberately picked this spot so the village wouldn't be dragged into the fight.
Yahiko's pace was steady, almost making Konan feel no bumps. Soon, the village appeared before them.
Konan's breathing was calm, as if she had fallen asleep.
The closer they got to Amegakure, the stranger Yahiko's expression became—like he was struggling, even showing a hint of ferocity. But soon, he regained calm as if nothing had happened.
Before long, Yahiko carried Konan and returned to Amegakure village.
In a few leaps, he climbed the towering structure that pierced the clouds.
Yahiko carefully set Konan down and looked at the sleeping girl. He gently woke her.
"Konan, wake up. We're back."
Konan opened her eyes, tiredness clear in them.
But more importantly, her spirit was severely drained. The Sequence 4 demi-god had almost completely exhausted her.
Right now, the nerves at her temples were throbbing painfully, making it impossible to focus her thoughts.
She knew this was a side effect of spiritual exhaustion, and she needed to rest well for a while.
"Sorry, Nagato, you've worked hard."
Konan forced a faint smile, then said, "Sorry, could you please go calm the villagers?"
"All right, I'll go right away." Yahiko smiled. "You rest well. I'll handle the rest."
With that, Yahiko left the top room of the tower, disappearing beneath the rare clear sky over the Rain Hidden Village.
Watching Yahiko leave, Konan seemed to finally relax.
"Finally, it's all over."
She struggled to steady her unsteady body, holding onto the spiral staircase inside the tower, stepping down carefully one step at a time.
"This big incident… I should report to Lord Adam, right?" she thought. Suddenly, she changed her original plan and went straight to the secret room on the lowest floor.
Though exhausted, Konan pushed through, pressing her palm against the iron door.
A faint blue light curtain appeared again, and she stepped inside.
Inside the huge pure white room, she looked at the floating "book" above the altar and smiled.
