Chapter 522 - Chapter 468.1 : Inside Groselle's Travels!!

Suddenly, before their eyes appeared heavy snowflakes, mixed with icy shards, and a fierce wind howled in their ears.

The biting cold pierced their bodies, as if trying to freeze every inch of their blood.

The deadly chill made White Zetsu and Obito suddenly realize the strangeness of this "book world"!

By rights, both of them were Sequence 4 demi-gods, and possessed chakra pathway systems.

Although they couldn't completely ignore the cold, at least they shouldn't feel it like ordinary people.

Yet, the mountainous land covered by the blizzard and its extremely harsh environment made the proud White Zetsu and Obito truly experience the treatment of "mortals" for the first time.

"It's too cold. We can't stay here any longer!"

White Zetsu shivered uncontrollably, his teeth chattering as he spoke.

Obito beside him reacted a little better—not because he was stronger, but simply because he was wearing clothes.

Glancing at White Zetsu, he couldn't help but laugh: "Ha, who told you not to wear clothes all the time? Now you know what regret feels like, right?"

Yes, White Zetsu was born without gender distinction. Though he had gained intelligence, he always believed he was superior to humans and thus disdainfully refused to wear human clothes.

But now, naked and trembling from the cold, White Zetsu's onion-like green hair had even frozen into ice crystals.

"Do you really have to say this here?" White Zetsu glared angrily at Obito, secretly cursing himself for not inhabiting Yahiko's body earlier, which at least would have been warmer.

But now, regretting it was useless.

He could feel that since stepping into the "book world," his spiritual power seemed to be completely cut off.

All his backup plans left outside were now useless.

"Groselle's Travels is definitely not that simple." White Zetsu gritted his teeth in silent hatred, cursing 'Adam' in his mind.

Then he turned to Obito and said, "Now we can only rely on ourselves. This thing is too sinister—it can completely block my mind connection!"

Unexpectedly, Obito frowned, his eyes heavy with seriousness. "My space-time ninjutsu also seems unable to leave this place."

"Moreover—"

His tone suddenly shifted, his face dark and dripping with coldness. In a hoarse voice, he said, "I can't sense 'Mother' anymore. This space even blocks 'Mother.' Do you know what that means?"

Hearing this, White Zetsu's face twitched. He opened his mouth to speak but swallowed his words in the end.

Obito stared at him grimly, speaking slowly and clearly: "It means Groselle's Travels can only be made by something at least at the 'True God' level!"

White Zetsu's mouth felt dry and bitter, his eyelids twitching wildly, but he remained silent.

"Pray, White Zetsu."

Obito took a deep breath, his cold gaze fixed on the place. "Pray that Adam can't fully control it. Otherwise, hmph, we will be walking right into his trap."

"Believe me, Adam definitely can't fully master Groselle's Travels." White Zetsu licked his cracked lips, his throat frozen stiff. His hoarse, sharp voice sounded like a broken bellows: "You should know very well that Adam is essentially just a 'Sequence 4' demigod!"

"Heh, of course, I know. Otherwise, I would have killed you long ago."

Obito sneered and then started walking toward the vast snowy wilderness. "Stop wasting time. Let's find that guy quickly. Only then can we get out of this hellhole."

The two trudged through the raging blizzard in the towering mountains.

The thick snow was above their knees, and their body heat gradually dropped, forcing them to build a wooden hut outdoors.

Of course, most of the work was done by White Zetsu.

Although his wood-style wasn't as strong as the First Hokage's, it was still more than enough to build a house.

They used fire-style jutsu to light a fire. Inside the hut, the two warmed themselves, feeling slightly better.

At that moment, the raging blizzard outside suddenly stalled, as if the entire world was trembling.

A wild and violent aura approached from afar, carrying a pressure that pierced deep into their very souls!

It was the overwhelming crushing force of a high-level being over a low-level one, a total domination from soul to flesh.

Even someone as reckless as Obito was trembling in fear, his pupils shrinking sharply as he curled up in horror.

The brutal aura descended like a heavenly wrath.

The terrifying gusts seemed almost tangible, tearing through the endless blizzard.

At that exact moment, the cowering Obito and White Zetsu suddenly saw it—a gigantic dragon cloaked in pure white scales, soaring through the high clouds.

Its enormous shadow cast down below was like a mountain sweeping across the land, its majestic power shattering the storm.

The wooden cabin on the snowy ground could not withstand the roaring gale, instantly torn apart into pieces.

Only after that terrifying shadow completely passed did the two finally snap out of their fear.

They exchanged a long, silent look.

"Do you think Adam can control that dragon?"

Obito swallowed hard, a rare hint of fear flashing across his face.

That dragon felt overwhelmingly terrifying, as if a single glance could crush him into pulp.

The gap between them was beyond measure.

If Adam truly controlled that dragon, it would be better for them to just end it all now.

"Probably... not."

In truth, even White Zetsu was unsure whether Adam could control that giant dragon.

The two remained silent for a long time, tacitly agreeing not to speak of it again.

Fortunately, the dragon's passage tore the blizzard apart, revealing a rare clear sky.

The atmosphere was tense and stiff as they silently headed deeper into the snowy mountains.

As evening approached, they climbed over a peak and finally spotted a place with a burning campfire.

"Someone's there."

Obito's eyesight was sharp; he spotted a cave ahead.

In front of the cave, a campfire was burning. Guarding it was a slender woman dressed in fur clothes. She looked almost human, except for her slightly pointed ears.

"Should we go over?" White Zetsu glanced at Obito, waiting for his decision.

"This world is too strange. It's best not to casually approach anyone." Obito pondered for a moment, then shook his head.

"Besides, this is the world of 'spectators.' We must stay alert, or we risk being secretly controlled by implanted thoughts."

"Right. We can't easily make contact with anyone."

White Zetsu nodded in agreement. "You control her, and I'll see if I can dig out some useful information."

The two quickly made their plan.

Obito quietly moved forward, intending to severely incapacitate the woman guarding the cave before handing her over to White Zetsu for interrogation.

However, something unexpected happened.

The elf woman on guard was highly perceptive. Before Obito could get close, her gaze already fixed on their ambush position.

They had been spotted!
