Chapter 530 - Chapter 472.1 : Treat Like VR!!

During his days in the psychiatric hospital, White Zetsu slowly came to accept reality.

Over time, he had finished reading Lord of the Mysteries and Naruto, and at last, completely let go of his once unrealistic thoughts.

So it turned out, that so-called "Visionary" was nothing more than a delusional patient's dream—a world born purely from imagination.

"How are you feeling today?"

Director Getsu entered the room with a nurse, looking at the now calm White Zetsu lying on the hospital bed.

"Not bad, Director Getsu."

White Zetsu smiled shyly and looked toward the man in the white coat, calm and peaceful.

"I've been taking my medication exactly as prescribed. It's been a long time since I last had any hallucinations."

"That's good. But don't let your guard down."

Director Getsu nodded slightly, then gave a serious reminder.

"You must take your meds on time. If the hallucinations return… don't fall too deep into them."

"Don't fall too deep?"

White Zetsu paused, confused.

"Sorry, Director. I don't quite understand what you mean."

Director Getsu adjusted the glasses on his nose, his voice becoming more serious.

"Your delusional disorder isn't fully cured. I can't say for sure when it might return. That's why I have to remind you—what if tomorrow you wake up and find yourself back in that world again?"

Hearing that, White Zetsu fell silent.

He shook his head slowly.

"I… I don't know. That world feels so real, Director Getsu."

As he spoke, he gripped his head in pain, his expression twisting again.

"I really can't tell what's real anymore, Director!"

"Calm down, Toshi-kun."

Director Getsu gently patted his shoulder, his voice soft and soothing, like a comforting balm to the soul.

White Zetsu, overwhelmed with emotion, looked up at him like a drowning man grabbing for a lifeline.

His eyes were filled with desperation.

"Director Getsu… what should I do?"

"Actually, if you just calm down and think it through, isn't it really simple?"

Director Getsu adjusted the gold-rimmed glasses on the bridge of his nose and smiled gently. "Have you heard of virtual reality—VR technology?"

During this period, White Zetsu had crammed in a lot of knowledge, especially after spending so much time surfing the internet.

Naturally, he understood some of it, so he nodded.

"Yeah, I've heard of it. But what does that have to do with treating my delusional disorder, Director Getsu?"

"Of course, it's related."

Under White Zetsu's curious gaze, the elegant Director Getsu spoke lightly.

"Since it can't be completely eliminated, why not try another method? Treat that imagined world of yours as a highly realistic game. You're just a player experiencing the game. You don't have to care whether it's real or not—just enjoy the experience."

Hearing that, a light flickered in White Zetsu's eyes. "Right... since it feels so real, I can totally treat it like a realistic game!"

"Exactly. That's the idea."

Director Getsu nodded with a smile, clearly pleased with White Zetsu's reaction, and continued. "This way, even if that world feels real, it can't trap you anymore, right?"

"I get it! I get it now!"

White Zetsu was thrilled. He sprang up from the hospital bed and grabbed Director Getsu's hand tightly, his face full of gratitude.

"Thank you. Thank you so much, Director Getsu! You're truly a miracle doctor!"

"Heh, treating patients is my duty. No need to thank me."

With a warm smile, Director Getsu gently reassured him.

"Just remember, Toshi-kun, don't be tempted by that other world. No matter how real it seems, always treat it like a realistic game. Work together with our treatment, and I believe you'll soon break free from your delusions and return to a normal life."

"Don't worry, Director Getsu!"

At this moment, White Zetsu was full of confidence. He patted his chest and declared, "I understand what you mean. I won't fall into it again!"

"Good."

Director Getsu adjusted his glasses and ended the conversation.

Stepping through the Bronze Gate, they entered an enormous library.

Two towering bookshelves, nearly a hundred meters tall, stretched out like mountain ranges, filled with a staggering number of books that seemed to go on forever.

"The space inside... it looks way bigger than it does from the outside."

Uchiha Sogetsu glanced around, astonished by the sheer scale of the library.

Beside him, the Angel of Concealment remained silent, standing quietly by his side, always on guard against ambushes from the shadows.

Before entering the Bronze Gate, Uchiha Sogetsu had handed over the Quill of Alzuhod to the Angel of Concealment for safekeeping.

Should anything unusual happen, the Angel of Concealment would immediately erase the threat—no matter the cost.

Even if doing so would lead to a powerful backlash that might destroy the Angel of Concealment itself, Uchiha Sogetsu believed the risk was worth it to ensure success.

"Over here."

"Over here."

"Over here."

At the end of the rows of shelves within the massive library, a voice seemed to be softly calling to him.

That voice clearly carried a powerful psychic force.

Even a Sequence 4 demigod like White Zetsu had been unable to resist it and was hypnotized into walking through the Bronze Gate.

It was terrifying.

But to the current Sequence 2 Uchiha Sogetsu, it wasn't much of a threat anymore.

Long before stepping through the gate, he had already set up heavy layers of psychic defenses around his mindscape and planted several mental suggestions.

Ignoring the beckoning voice, Uchiha Sogetsu walked up to one of the shelves and casually pulled out a book.

He flipped it open.

The pages described stories from the First Epoch.

There were elves, giants, and many strange and fascinating tales.

He skimmed through several more volumes and found that most of them were quite similar in content.

It seemed that nearly all the books in this library were like that.

Uchiha Sogetsu closed the book and returned it to its place.

A question slowly rose in his heart.

Would the library of the "Dragon of Imagination," Ankewelt, really be this simple?

So many books—used just to record the rise and fall of eras and the stories of ordinary beings?

Uchiha Sogetsu didn't believe it.

Books specially stored in this place… must have another purpose.

"The space inside seems much larger than it looks from the outside."

Uchiha Sogetsu spoke.

This place was vast—at least for now, he hadn't reached its edge.

At the end of the book-lined hallway stood a cross, towering over a hundred meters tall.

Beneath the cross, a blurry human figure knelt in silence, as if in prayer.

There was a sense of mercy and sorrow radiating from him.

The figure prayed with eyes closed, draped in a simple white robe.

His pale golden beard covered the lower half of his face.

In his hands, he held a thick book, its pages clearly having just been turned moments ago.

Looking at the praying figure, Uchiha Sogetsu lowered his gaze slightly.

A trace of sorrow flickered in his eyes.
