Shinnō tasted the flavor of the "Tyrant Pathway" potion from Sasuke's blood.
This pushed his already unstable mind to the brink of frenzy.
Blood-red markings spread across his face, and his pupils gleamed with a chilling light.
"Although this might be a little troublesome, it doesn't matter. I'll make sure to train you well."
The way he looked at her was as if she were nothing more than livestock, making Sasuke feel a wave of disgust rise from deep within.
"You won't get your way!"
"Hahaha! In your current state, what right do you have to say that?"
Shinnō's gaze lingered on the battered girl before him, his laughter growing wilder.
"Look at yourself now. With that useless burden next to you, you could never defeat me!"
Sakura was desperately using her medical ninjutsu to treat Sasuke's wounds.
Hearing Shinnō's words, her eyes welled up with tears.
"I'm sorry… He's right. If you hadn't saved me, you wouldn't be this injured. It's my fault."
Sasuke reached out gently, wiping away the tears on her face.
"Don't say something so foolish. We're Team 7. How could I not save you?"
"But… but…"
Sakura choked on her words.
"You're so badly hurt… It's all because I'm too useless."
Yes… If she were just a little stronger, maybe none of this would have happened.
"Don't worry. I have a way."
Sasuke gave her a firm look and staggered to her feet.
"What a pity," Shinnō scoffed as he watched her stand again.
"If you hadn't chosen to save her earlier, you might not be this injured. But now, with that broken, battered body of yours, what can you possibly do?"
"I can do… a lot."
Sasuke knew they still had a chance.
On the way here, she had secretly sent word to Kakashi-sensei through a summoned beast.
If nothing went wrong, Kakashi would arrive soon.
All she had to do was hold out a little longer.
She took a deep breath and released the last chakra sealed on her forehead.
"Yin Seal — Creation Rebirth!"
In just a few days, she had already used this technique twice, and her stored chakra was running dangerously low.
The recovery was barely visible to the naked eye, and Sasuke knew this had to end quickly.
If her chakra ran out, their fate would be the same as the people in this room… inexplicably forced into pregnancy.
Sasuke's instincts screamed at her — those pregnant people were radiating an ominous aura.
How nice… Sakura looked at Sasuke's face, now covered in purple markings, and couldn't help but feel a deep envy. She too had learned the Yin Seal, but her chakra reserves were too small.
The time needed to gather it was far too long, and even now she still hadn't completed it.
"Sakura, I'll do everything I can to hold him off. I'm counting on you to find a way to break the barrier!"
Leaving those words behind, Sasuke's slender figure was suddenly swept up by a violent gale, as if carried by the wind straight toward Shinnō.
That's right!
Sakura's eyes lit up. She wasn't completely useless!
At the very least, she could search for a way to break the barrier. If they succeeded, they wouldn't need to defeat the enemy — they could still escape!
"Chidori!"
This time, Sasuke had no intention of holding back.
With Chidori's unique high mobility, and the added boost of the raging wind, her speed skyrocketed to an almost unbelievable level.
From Shinnō's perspective, the surroundings were suddenly filled with afterimages left behind by her blinding movement.
The wind roared into existence, twisting around her and forming a raging hurricane.
The rapidly spinning storm howled and tore at the air, as if it would swallow Shinnō whole. The sharp wind blades sliced through the atmosphere like steel knives.
"Trying to confuse my vision with tricks like this?" Shinnō let out a cold smile, suddenly snapping his head toward a certain spot. His muscles swelled as if inflated, his whole body sprouting coarse black fur. He looked like a massive wild bear as he threw a punch straight ahead. "You're right here!"
Boom!!!
Explosive lightning clashed with his fist, sending out wave after wave of air pressure.
The sheer destructive force of Sasuke's Lightning Release shattered the bones in Shinnō's fist, tearing through flesh and splattering blood into the air.
Yet Shinnō seemed completely unfazed by pain. His thick, powerful arms swung inward, trying to pull Sasuke into a crushing embrace.
The wind around her boomed like exploding shells, pressing in from all directions.
She didn't need to think — if those arms closed around her, even the lightest outcome would be broken bones and a complete loss of combat ability.
"Time… Zero!"
Sasuke's golden eyes burned like flowing molten lava.
This move would consume a massive amount of stamina, but right now, she had no other choice.
Shinnō's movements seemed to slow down dozens of times over, each swing of his arm stirring the air so clearly that even the currents were visible in Sasuke's eyes.
She immediately lowered her body, gathering all her chakra into her right hand. The violent chakra stretched Chidori's lightning, transforming it into a razor-sharp blade.
"Creation Rebirth has reached its limit. I'll put the last of my chakra into this strike!"
The essence of the draw sword technique lies in the moment before the blade is drawn.
All of one's spirit, focus, and strength must be fused into that single slash. And when the blade finally leaves the sheath, it must erupt with a strike powerful enough to split the sky and rend the earth.
Within the realm of Time Zero, Sasuke calmed her thoughts.
"Cut!"
In the next instant, the strange blood-red sky above the courtyard was suddenly drowned out by a blinding, searing white light.
Countless blades descended like tens of thousands of falling stars, tearing rifts through the void.
The slash, infused with her entire spirit and being, formed a dense web that enveloped Shinnō completely.
Clang—
Uncountable afterimages merged into one unbroken torrent.
The moment Shinnō's mind returned from the domain, his vision was filled entirely with blade-light, which swallowed him whole.
A raging storm tore at his flesh like a thousand blades carving him apart.
"Hahahahaha! Is that all you've got?!"
No matter how grievous the wound, Shinnō's regeneration was nothing short of monstrous.
Relying on his astounding healing speed, he endured the relentless blades and slammed his fist into Sasuke's face. The terrifying force sent her flying backward like a cannonball.
Boom!
She crashed into the courtyard wall with the force of an explosion, embedding deep into the stone.
The impact made her entire skeleton feel as if it would shatter.
This isn't working. His ability… it's too unnatural!
Blood dripped from her lips as she glared at Shinnō, her mind racing for a countermeasure.
