Chapter 573 - Chapter 493.2 : Crimson Moon!!

Indeed, the mythical form that Shinnō displayed seemed to blend many Beyonder Characteristics, resulting in a strange and eerie appearance.

To be precise, it resembled the form of a 'Mother Goddess of Depravity'!

"Could it be that SHE plans to raise Shinnō as her offspring?" Adam's doubts grew, but he raised his hand, touching Shinnō's forehead with his index finger.

"Alright, let me see what secrets are hidden deep within your island of consciousness."

"Wake up, are you alright?"

"Wake up quickly, Sasuke!"

Suddenly, Sasuke felt a shaking, as if someone was calling her.

She struggled to open her eyes. Darkness slowly faded from her vision, and after waiting more than ten seconds, she finally saw the person before her clearly.

"Kakashi-sensei?" Sasuke's voice was weak and hoarse.

"What exactly happened?!"

Kakashi looked at the severely injured Sasuke, guilt filling his heart. "It's all my fault. If I had been faster, this wouldn't have happened!"

"Are… we saved?"

Still dazed from just waking up, Sasuke asked, "Kakashi-sensei, did you defeat that guy?"

"Me? No, I didn't encounter anyone." Kakashi shook his head, then helped Sasuke up. He pointed to the mountain peak that had been flattened by a meteor and the raging forest fire, his tone serious as he said, "I got your message not long ago and immediately had Pakkun track the scent."

"No… sign of the enemy?"

Only then did Sasuke realize they were at the foot of the mountain, not halfway up!

W-What exactly is going on?!

She clearly remembered that before losing consciousness, she was in the courtyard halfway up the mountain. So why did she wake up at the foot of the mountain?

"What are you talking about, Sasuke?" Kakashi asked, looking confused as he reached out to feel her forehead. "Are you seriously that badly injured?"

Sasuke suddenly realized something important, her pupils shrinking. "Kakashi-sensei, do you mean you saved me?"

"Of course not."

Kakashi shook his head and said gravely, "I followed Pakkun all the way from town up into the mountains. Then, at the foot of the mountain, I found you and Sakura. Both of you were unconscious and badly hurt. What exactly happened?"

"I..." Sasuke covered her aching forehead and said, "Sakura and I went to a fireworks festival. Suddenly, we met a strange man named Shinnō."

"Shinnō?!"

At the mention of the name, surprise showed on Kakashi's face.

"Kakashi-sensei, do you know him?" Sasuke asked, a little startled.

"Over ten years ago, during a mission, I heard about him," Kakashi said, lost in thought. "He was the leader of the Sky Ninja Village. But then, no one knows what happened. The entire village vanished overnight."

"Overnight? The whole thing?"

Hearing this, Sasuke felt a chill in her heart.

Even the smallest ninja village has at least tens of thousands of people.

But such a large village disappearing overnight, combined with Shinnō's strange behavior, made her uneasy.

Could it be... that everyone got pregnant?

"So, what happened next?" Kakashi asked.

"Well..." Sasuke sighed bitterly. "Sakura and I decided to find out what was really going on. If only I hadn't been so careless. We walked right into his trap. He seemed to be conducting some kind of experiment — imprisoning many people, both men and women, and all of them were pregnant!"

"Pregnant?"

Kakashi's eyes widened in disbelief. "Are you sure you didn't see it wrong? Men can get pregnant now?"

"I'm certain, Kakashi-sensei."

Sasuke repeated helplessly. She knew it sounded unbelievable, but it was the truth.

Moreover, Shinnō seemed to have mastered some kind of method she didn't yet understand.

Whether it was creating life from nothing or making stone statues, it wasn't any technique she was familiar with.

"And then?"

Kakashi pressed on.

"Well…" Sasuke looked at Kakashi with a helpless expression and sighed deeply. "Then, Sakura and I lost consciousness. When we woke up, we were already at the foot of the mountain. I thought you saved us, but now…"

In fact, even now, she was completely confused.

She couldn't figure out why she was still in the courtyard before losing consciousness, but mysteriously appeared at the mountain foot when she woke up.

"There's another group too," Kakashi's face grew serious and grave. "The sudden appearance of the Land of Sky ninja is no simple matter. We must report to Lady Tsunade immediately."

More than ten years ago, Land of Sky mysteriously disappeared overnight.

But now, after so long, its leader Shinnō suddenly reappeared and was conducting secret research — research that could make men pregnant. What was the meaning behind all this?

"Oh, Kakashi-sensei, there's one more thing."

Sasuke suddenly remembered the strange snake summoned by Shinnō and asked, "Do you know about the Zero-Tail?"

"Zero-Tail?"

Kakashi furrowed his brows and shook his head. "As far as I know, there have only ever been nine Tailed Beasts. Where would a Zero-Tail come from?"

"I thought so too, but…" Sasuke hesitated. "Shinnō summoned a large deep black snake, made of pure dark chakra. He called it the 'Zero-Tail Void.'"

"Zero-Tail Void."

Kakashi pondered briefly, then shook his head. "No, I'm sure there are only nine Tailed Beasts. This Zero-Tail Void you mention probably isn't a true Tailed Beast. Maybe it's some kind of experimental product. Could the dark chakra be related to the disappearance of the Land of Sky?"

However, neither of their guesses had any evidence.

Looking at the burning mountain peak, Sasuke was silent for a moment, then sighed. At this point, just escaping was already a stroke of luck. She definitely didn't dare to rush in again.

"Forget it, thinking about this now is pointless."

Kakashi glanced warily at the mountain peak and said in a low voice, "Let's leave here as soon as possible. This place feels very unsafe. It's creepy, like someone's always watching us. My gut says we should get out fast!"

Hearing this, Sasuke nodded in agreement. "I feel the same way, Kakashi-sensei."

Meanwhile, halfway up the mountain, Uchiha Sogetsu stood at the edge of the abyss, his eyes narrowing as he looked up at the deep starry sky.

"They noticed our movements and plan to intervene personally?"

At that moment, the bright moon had somehow turned a deep crimson!
