Chapter 106 - End of destiny part 2

The city was gone.

Only fragments of concrete drifted in the air, weightless under the fractured sky.

Above them, the heavens had turned to black glass — and behind it, the cold stare of space.

Law stood amidst the ruin, bare-chested, his body steaming with raw energy.

Every breath he took distorted the air, bending reality around him. His right hand hummed with erasure, a power that stripped existence apart molecule by molecule.

Across from him — Adam.

Half his face burned, chest cracked open from the last exchange, divine light leaking from the wounds like molten gold. His eyes burned crimson and gold, hair still glowing faintly from Yahweh's power. Behind him shimmered a spectral aura shaped like wings of light — cracked, uneven, but unbroken.

A silence deeper than death settled.

Only the faint hum of collapsing reality filled the void.

Law: "Do you see it, Adam? Your resistance means nothing"

Law's face twitched.

He raised his arm — the air itself screamed as he swung, sending out a torrent of destruction.

Adam vanished.

The ground exploded upward, and Law barely blocked a rising kick that sent shockwaves spiraling through the air. The collision cracked space itself; red lightning tore through the void.

Adam's fist slammed into Law's jaw, the sound echoing like thunder.

Law retaliated with an open-palm strike, launching Adam through the air, crashing through what was left of a skyscraper.

Before the debris could fall, Adam burst through it, sword drawn — the blade forged from divine light itself.

Their weapons met —

light against erasure, divinity against nothingness.

Every strike carved streaks of energy through the air.

Buildings shattered, the ocean rose in walls of vaporized mist.

Each blow was faster, harder, louder — until the world could no longer keep up.

Law roared, slamming his hand into the ground — the earth split in half, magma spewing upward. He grabbed a chunk of molten stone and hurled it like a bullet; Adam cut through it, flames scattering behind him.

Law: "I AM THE LAW OF THIS WORLD! EVERYTHING EXISTS BECAUSE I ALLOW IT!"

Adam: breathing heavy, blood dripping from his lip

"Then consider this… your end."

He charged.

Their swords met again —

each impact creating flashes that blinded the sky.

Law tried to crush him with gravity — Adam broke through it.

Law tried to erase his existence — Adam re-manifested, step by step, his will rewriting the void around him.

Law snarled, summoning his ultimate weapon — a colossal black spear glowing with the power to end creation.

Law: "This world ends with YOU!"

He hurled it.

Adam spread his arms — golden light burst from him in the form of hundreds of glowing swords, all forged from pure divine will.

They rained down like meteors.

The spear collided with the storm — and the explosion engulfed the world.

When the light cleared, Law staggered, half his face burned, one arm missing.

Adam stood before him, limping, sword dragging behind.

His body was broken — but his eyes were still burning.

Law: "You… should be dead…"

Adam: "Maybe… but I've got one strike left."

He took a single step.

Law screamed, gathering everything — his rage, his fear, his divinity. He lunged forward to erase him completely.

But Adam had already moved.

A flash of gold light —

and Law froze.

His eyes widened.

Adam's sword was buried in his chest, straight through the core of his being.

For a moment, no one breathed.

The void went silent.

He twisted the blade.

A ripple of light spread — and Law's body began to disintegrate, breaking into fragments of black dust.

Law looked up at the sky, disbelief and fury mixing into terror.

Law: "I am… LAW—"

The word was cut short as his body burst into particles, dissolving into nothingness.

Adam fell to his knees, sword still glowing faintly.

The city around him was gone.

The sky was just void.

He looked up.

Adam: smiling faintly

"…It's over."

Adam stood hunched over, sword dripping light and blood.

Each breath came ragged, scraping against his lungs. His body trembled — his vision blurring between smoke, dust, and the fading shimmer of his blade.

The world was quiet.

Too quiet.

BOOM!

The ground erupted.

A massive hand of pure black energy burst from beneath the rubble, seizing Adam by the face.

Adam: "—What?!"

Law's voice came from the darkness — broken, distorted, but filled with hatred.

Law: "You think that was enough to kill me?!"

He rose from the crater — skin charred, veins glowing with red lightning, eyes empty like dead stars. The very air twisted around him, reality bending under his reformed body.

Without hesitation, Law slammed Adam through a collapsed tower, then hurled him across the ruins like a ragdoll. The building crumbled under the impact, raining shards of glass and steel around them.

Adam coughed blood, his divine aura getting weaker.

He tried to raise his sword, but his arm refused to move. His body— spent.

Law: "I'll erase you from existence, and every trace of you that ever was!"

He raised his hand — the space around Adam began to distort, pulling him toward the center of nothingness.

Then a flash of light burst from the side.

A familiar voice cried out:

Eve: "NOOOO!"

She crashed into Law, grabbing Adam before the erasure field could consume him. The two vanished in a streak of light, reappearing miles away in the remains of an ancient temple, far from the center of the battle.

Adam fell to his knees, coughing hard, barely catching his breath.

Adam: weakly, furious "Why—why did you take me away!? I had him! I could've finished it"

Eve's hand shot out, slapping him across the face.

Her voice cracked — a mix of anger and heartbreak.

Eve: "You're my brother! Why wouldn't I save you!?"

Adam froze — stunned silent.

Her eyes burned with tears and fury as she stepped closer.

Eve: "You think I forgot what you did? That you slaughtered our family— that you burned everything we ever loved?"

Her voice broke.

"I remember every scream of their deaths. All their faces everyday. And I still came back for you!"

Adam's breathing slowed, his rage faltering.

Eve: "You can hate me. You can hate yourself. But I won't let you die here… not like this. Not to him."

Adam turned away, trembling. His voice came out hoarse, almost broken.

Adam: "You should've let me end it… I don't deserve"

Eve: cutting him off, tears streaming down

"You don't get to decide who deserves to live or die, Not anymore."

Eve: takes a deep breath, steadying her trembling hands as she looks at him

"Remember that deal we made…"

Adam slowly lifts his head, blood trickling down his jaw, his eyes barely open.

Eve: "Once all of this is over… we settle this once and for all."

Her voice hardens, but her eyes soften — that old fire flickers back inside her.

"So until then…" — she grabs his collar, forcing him to look at her —

"You're not allowed to die."

Adam stares at her in disbelief — then lets out a broken laugh through the pain.

Adam: weakly smirking "Heh… same old Eve. Still bossing me around."

Eve: half-smiling "And you're still stupid enough to need it."

A distant explosion shakes the earth, cutting their moment short.

Both turn toward the burning horizon — Law's silhouette rising once again, towering over the collapsing skyline, his form glowing like a dying sun.

Eve: quietly "He's coming…"

Adam: gripping his sword, pushing himself to stand despite his wounds "Then we end it. Together."

The world itself was tearing apart.

The sky had shattered into void. The oceans boiled. Mountains crumbled into dust.

Eve: "We end this now!"

Adam: "For everything we lost!"

They charged.

Adam swung first — his sword blazing gold, striking with divine fury.

Eve followed, her wings slicing through the air like shining blades, each strike leaving afterimages of light and flame.

Law met them head-on — his eyes cold, unfeeling, the void itself swirling around his hands.

But for the first time… he staggered.

Adam's blade cut across his chest — blood splattered across the ruined concrete.

Eve pierced through his guard — a devastating light spear through his shoulder.

Law (gritting his teeth): "Impossible…"

Adam roared — "It's over, Law!" — and drove his sword forward.

The siblings attacked in perfect unison — divine and celestial energy entwining like twin comets.

Their power exploded — a blinding surge that tore through the battlefield, vaporizing the ground beneath them.

For a moment — it looked like victory.

Law's body was thrown back, torn, his form dissolving in a storm of light.

Eve: "We did it…"

Adam: breathing hard "No… not yet… something's wrong…"

The air went still.

Law's voice echoed — cold, detached, echoing through the ruined city.

Law: "You truly thought… this vessel could be slain?"

The ground burst open — and from the crater rose Law's true form.

No longer human form— a monstrous celestial being, molten veins glowing under translucent skin, his eyes black voids leaking crimson light.

Law: "You fought gods… yet forgot what it means to face me."

He vanished.

In less than a second — Adam was slammed into the ground, hard enough to crater the city block.

Eve screamed, trying to reach him — only to be caught mid-air, her wings ripped apart by a single backhand.

Her body hit the ground, blood splattering across the broken tiles.

Adam: "EVE!!"

He tried to move — but Law appeared before him, grabbed his face, and dragged him through the street, concrete and debris exploding behind them.

Law: "Your defiance is admirable… but meaningless."

He threw Adam into a collapsed tower, crushing him under the rubble.

Eve tried to crawl toward him — trembling, blood trailing from her mouth.

Eve: "Adam… get up… please…"

Law turned his gaze toward her.

He lifted a finger — energy condensed into a sphere the size of a star.

Law: "Farewell, children of Paradise."

The blast hit.

A massive shockwave ripped through the ruins, leveling what little remained of the city.

The ground trembled beneath the pressure of Law's power.

With a single flick of his wrist, Adam and Eve were lifted into the air, invisible hands crushing them from afar.

Their bones cracked audibly — the sound echoing across the broken city.

Their divine light flickered, dimming under the suffocating weight of Law's telekinetic grip.

Law (coldly): "It's over. You've lost your right to exist."

Blood began to stream from Adam's mouth as he struggled, his fingers trembling in the air.

Eve's vision blurred — tears and blood mixing — but she still looked toward him.

Eve (hoarse whisper): "Adam… look at me…"

Through the agony, he turned his head. Their eyes met — pain, defiance, love, and the weight of eternity between them.

Slowly, desperately, they reached out through the invisible force crushing them — fingers trembling, bodies shuddering.

Every inch felt like a lifetime.

Their fingertips brushed — then their palms pressed together.

Their blood intertwined.

And in that instant—

BOOM.

A blinding explosion erupted between them, a pillar of light so intense it tore the clouds apart.

The air screamed. Space itself warped around them.

Electricity and flame coursed through their veins, their hair igniting with divine energy — Eve's turning white-hot gold, Adam's burning with molten crimson.

Their eyes glowed — one with the light of creation, the other with the fire of destruction.

Law stumbled back, shielding his face from the sudden surge of power.

Law: "What—what is this…?"

The world fell silent for a heartbeat — then erupted in a shockwave of blinding, divine energy.
