Chapter One Hundred Sixty-Seven:
Merwa Mountain
For some reason, I had the courage to say what I also didn't expect to be my answer.
"Then, drink my blood." I seriously answered. And I can see the shock from his face.
"What are you talking about, Shu?!" he exclaimed that made me laugh a little.
"Mon, do you think you can bite me when something happens to us?" I asked as I called him to his nickname as a sign of my endearment.
Haimon suddenly smiles and laughs. "When you call me that I'm sure I can't help but to kiss you."
"Then kiss me," I said without a doubt.
It took him long time before Haimon could answer back. "I think we shall go inside and--"
I didn't let him finish speaking and I immediately pulled him by his collar and I kissed him myself. He was surprised at first then when I ended my kiss, he intently looks at me before he kisses me back. This time he torridly kisses me that I respond with the same intense. And without noticing he suddenly lifts me up and brings me inside the house without breaking our kisses.
…
One moment, we were at the climax of our kiss while our hands were freely crawling over each other's bodies. With each caress on each other's bodies, the heat gradually crawls up which gradually scorches our whole being. We are beginning to ignite but then Haimon suddenly stops, which I am surprise.
Chasing our breaths, I stared into his eyes. "Wh-why?" I asked between my breaths.
"I can't." he answered as he also catching up his breath.
I don't know why instead of being annoyed or angry I rather just hug him tightly and spoke. "I can wait." I honestly said.
"But––"
"No more words." I said cutting his words and end our embrace to look him in the eyes. "Instead, can I sleep into your arms tonight?"

Inside the Cave
"For how long will you let him stay to that crystal?"
"Ansel!"
"Surprised?"
Rishna nodded and answered. "I thought you went back to your home."
"Not really." He said and walks closer to Wafi. "He's a fighter."
"What are you talking about?"
"He hasn't crossed my place, so I'm sure he'll be fine." He answered and holds the crystal before casting a silent spell.
"Ansel what did you do?"
"I just give him a little courage." He answered before he walks out leaving Rishna alone.
In silence, Rishna looks back to Wafi and hoping whatever Ansel did will save his life.
…
Next morning…
Upon awakening my eyes, I immediately see Haimon and he greeted me with a wonderful smile.
"Good morning, my Love." He greeted as he smiles.
"Good morning too, my Love," I greeted back and smiles.
He kisses me before he asking. "What do you want for breakfast?"
"Uhm, why don't we just stay here in bed longer? We don't have a job so we don't have to think too much this morning, right?"
"Uhm, you were right." he agreed and snuggles back at my side.
I snuggle too and rest my head to his chest. "This is comforting."
"Yeah!" He agreed. "So, what do you want to do after this?"
"The truth, I have nothing," I honestly answered. "Because this is our first time to do nothing but to be with you alone, and for that I am so happy that finally we have a 'me time' together."
"I'm happy too." He answered. "But I still couldn't help but to feel worry."
"Why?"
"Because of what can happen to you when you proceed to save Manu's soul."
Silence.
"Ca-can't you come with me?" I hopefully asked even though I already knew the answer.
"You know what will happen when I insist on coming with you."
"I know." I answered as I deeply sigh. "But I am afraid."
"Don't be. Because Ansel, a God, will accompany you," he justified.
"That's not what I'm afraid of."
"Really, then what is it?"
"You."
"Me?" I simply nodded. "Why?"
"Because I'm afraid to leave you alone because Kanik might attack once he knows what I'm going to do. And that is what I am afraid of. You may be attacked when I leave you alone here in the world of the living and that is what I will think of as soon as I enter the underworld."
Haimon's embrace suddenly tightens and said. "I can handle him myself so you have nothing to worry about. I am even more worried about how you will be when you enter the world of the dead. Because I'm not sure if you'll be able to come back even with the God of Life and Death is on your side as a guardian."
I pulled out my head out from his chest to stare at him. "You have nothing to worry. Even though I have no memory of the past I know, I and the God of Hell already talked about it and I'll return to your side no matter what. I promise."
Haimon looks at me intently before he smiles. "I will wait for you then." He agreed that I nodded and snuggles back to his arms with the hope that soon, I will finally save Manu's soul and also everyone else in this Earth.

Sky City
Reinhardt's House
"What are you still doing here?!" Corvina madly asked Medea when she came to visit Kanik.
"That's none of your business." Medea answered and was about to leave when Corvina pulled her back and slapped her face hard.
"You're really not ashamed, do you?! It doesn't mean that you can provide for the needs of Kanik in bed, you have the right to answer me like that! You might forget who you're talking to!"
"I can't forget that." She boldly answered. "Because you say it clearly and repeatedly so I know where do I stand, but you don't have the right to stop me because Kanik still wants me that even you cannot stop it."
