Chapter One Hundred Sixty-Eight:
Reinhardt's House
I have something I never want to see or even talk to. But what can I do if the world we live in only meets in one place because of one person. And today is one of those days that I don't want to see and meet the soon to be legal wife of the man that I love.
That even though I don't want to talk or to face her, she was the one forcibly blocks my way and harasses me. And I did not like what she said so I could not even restrain myself from answering her.
"I can't forget that." I boldly answered. "Because you say it clearly and repeatedly so I know where do I stand, but you don't have the right to stop me because Kanik still wants me that even you cannot stop it."
"Why you!" Corvina slapped my face I have not been able to avoid it once again. "You slut! How dare you to answer me like that!" She madly shouted at me that I just silently listen that angers her more and was about to slap me which I'll let her but then, her hand didn't land on my face.
"That is enough!" Maury intently shouted at her.
"What the hell!" Corvina shouted madly.
"If you don't want to get into trouble, you'd better stop doing this." He firmly answered and added. "Because if Kanik knows about this you know what will happen to you!"
"F@ck it!" she answered as she pulled out her hand out of Maury's hand. "You're still lucky you slut because someone is still protecting you, if you don't you will not like what I can do to you!" She madly exclaimed that I just fiercely stare at her before she left us alone.
"Are you alright?" suddenly Maury breaks my silent stare.
"Oh, yes, I'm fine. Thank you." I replied.
"I'm so sorry for what Corvnina done to you." He suddenly apologized.
"It's nothing, and you don't have to say sorry because you didn't do anything wrong." I answered.
"But still, I have to. And I'm so sorry." He sincerely said and if I just didn't know he's been in love with Corvina for a long time. Maybe I'll wonder why he has to be sorry for what Corvina did.
"Maybe that's really the case when loving someone. Even if it hurts, we still do anything and everything for them to protect them no matter what." I stated that he just silently deeply sighs.

Office Room
"What did you do again?" I seriously asked Corvina after he entered my office.
"How long will you use that woman?!" she madly replied.
"What is your problem?! I will marry you, isn't that enough?!"
"Yes, you will marry me but you will bring a slut woman?! What will people who know us say?!"
"I don't care!" I madly shouted and this time I couldn't stop my anger, I suddenly went to her and push her through the wall. Holding her neck tightly I pin her hard.
"Ahhh! Kan––"
"Shut up!" I madly shouted as she coughs and tries to free herself out of my hand. "If you don't like the things that I want to do, then just shut up or I'd rather just kill you to end your drama!" I said and throw her onto the floor.
Corvine coughs hardly as she tries to pull up herself out from the floor while I just fiercely look onto her before leaving her alone.

"Kan––" I couldn't even finish what I was about to say when he suddenly kissed me.
I was surprised at what he did especially it wasn't just a casual kiss. He torridly kisses me and without a warning, he gently bites my lower lip just to give an access to enter his tongue inside my mouth and play along with my tongue. For what he did, I couldn't stop myself not to moan through our kisses. And whether I admit it or not, his kisses gave heat to my whole body and I cannot hold it any longer.
"Ka-Kanik…" I gathered all the strength I still had just to break our kiss and while catching up my breath I said. "Wh-what are you doing?"
"I don't know." He answered. "I just want to kiss you. And to feel you… I just… I want you."
"But––" my speech was interrupted when he suddenly touched my face.
"Did she slap you?" he worriedly asked and my heart beats so fast I can hardly breathe. "I'm so sorry." He said and hugs me tightly. "But I have to marry her so that I can lead the whole Manu Clan easily, so the only thing I can do to you is lock you up by my side, Aella."
I know what he means, and even the memories of Kanik and some of his powers as a God have returned. He still has things he can't just do and one of them is to just rule the whole world. Because he will still need the pure blood that came from the Manu Clan to continue his clan and since I do not belong to their clan, I can do nothing but be his hidden mistress.
And the name he called me was my former name when I was a Goddess. Even before all of Kanik's memories came back, my memories of the past suddenly came back too. And it's been hundred years ago, when he was defeated by his twin sister's reincarnation, Siara. When he was completely erased from everyone's memory my memories came back and since then I have waited for him to wake up again and accompany him as the world changes into much better place.
This is why I stayed by his side even after all those years of waiting. Though one thing I still couldn't remember, what is the reason for the return of my memories and my resurrection in the world of humans and being as a Witch?
