Commotion erupted around them; almost everyone pulled out their phones to record photos and videos. In the middle of the chaos, the driver of the luxury sports car stepped out slowly. Dressed in a black suit with dark glasses and a communication earpiece, he looked more like a professional bodyguard than an ordinary driver. What he said next infuriated Chaithanya, who was already in excruciating pain.
"Move aside. Don't block the road—we're in a hurry," the man in the black suit ordered.
Chaithanya seized the man's collar and snarled in his face, "What did you just say? Don't block the road? Are you blind? If I hadn't put my body in front of that car, you would've run over that mother and her baby. They'd be dead because of your reckless driving."
"Wait here," Chaithanya warned, glaring at the man before turning to the blind woman and her child. He took her hand and gently pulled her to the roadside. "Stay here. I'll deal with that bastard."
The blind mother, who had learned what happened from the bystanders, was stunned to realize an A-list actor had shielded her with his body and was holding her hand. She was deeply moved; words caught in her throat and she could only nod.
Chaithanya grabbed the man's collar again, and the man in the suit frowned. "Could you let go of my collar?"
"I will hold it. What are you going to do about it?" Chaithanya replied. "Say sorry and compensate her for the trauma you caused—right now. Until then, you're not going anywhere."
Inside the sports car, a teenage girl waved her slim hand in the air and said, "Sister, he's so noisy and obnoxious. I want to break his bones and throw him away."
A sharp smack cut her off. "Ouch—that hurts," the teenage girl cried, holding her head.
"Yue-Yue, how many times have I told you to be gentle and composed? You act like a thug, ready to beat anyone who crosses you," the young woman who resembled her scolded sternly.
The teenager made no retort; she only pouted. The young woman fixed Chaithanya with a curious gaze and ordered through a walkie-talkie, "Don't fight him. Apologize, comply, and get every detail on him—file on my desk within an hour."
The driver who had received the orders backed down. He apologized submissively and handed 100,000 RMB to the blind woman to compensate her. Seeing him cooperate, Chaithanya relaxed and released his collar. The car drove off, traffic gradually cleared, and the police—arriving late as usual—questioned Chaithanya courteously because of his celebrity status. Once they confirmed the situation was resolved, they returned to their duties.
Chaithanya placed the check in the blind woman's hand and said softly, "Take this. Withdraw the money and live with dignity. Stop risking your life and your baby's. Stop begging."
The woman dropped to her knees, set her baby on the ground, and began kowtowing with tears streaming down her face. "Thank you, benefactor. I will repay your kindness however I can."
"No," Chaithanya said, walking toward his sports bike. "You don't have to repay me. Just take care of your child and live well. If you can, try to get treatment for your eyes in the future."
She continued to kowtow until she no longer heard his footsteps, then wiped her tears, lifted her baby, and walked toward the bank—familiar with the area and knowing exactly how to get there and how far it was.
What she will do and how far she will grow — that's a story for the future.
Chaithanya reached the bike, feeling embarrassed, and turned to Xiuying. "My hand's broken. Can you take me to the hospital?"
Xiuying stared at him incredulously. "You stopped that car with your body?"
"Yeah," Chaithanya replied, nodding innocently.
" And nothing happened to you and only your hand was broken?" she asked incredulously.
"Yes—only my hand. What, were you expecting me to die?" he teased.
Xiuying shook her head, climbed onto the bike, and started it. Chaithanya hopped on behind her as she headed toward the nearby hospital. She had witnessed so many surprises that she'd grown numb; all she could do now was carry out her job and be done with it.
As they left, the media swarmed the scene, interviewing witnesses. Chaithanya never imagined that rescuing a blind beggar would cause such a frenzy online and in the news.
Oblivious to the commotion, they arrived at the hospital. Because he was a celebrity, Chaithanya received VIP treatment: he was treated and discharged within thirty minutes.
It was already late. His personal driver dropped Xiuying off, and Chaithanya walked to his bedroom with chaotic thoughts. "Did I really see the future? How is this possible? I died and reincarnated in someone else's body—if that's true, anything could be possible. I need to find out how this happened," he muttered, powering on his high-end PC to research the phenomenon he experienced during the traffic incident.
Click. Click.
He found articles about ancient India and came across the term "Divya Drishti"—divine vision. The description read: the ability to perceive events beyond ordinary human capability, including future events, through spiritual or supernatural means; often associated with sages, yogis, or enlightened beings who have attained heightened spiritual awareness.
"So my reincarnation achieved enlightenment and gained heightened spiritual awareness?" Chaithanya thought. "Badass. How do I control this Divya Drishti?"
He began researching Indian sages and how they attained spiritual awareness without reincarnation. After months of intensive searching, he discovered a webpage outlining practices for observing spiritual energy and achieving enlightenment—methods purported to grant extraordinary power.
The page listed the seven chakras:
1. Muladhara — Root Chakra
2. Svadhishthana — Sacral Chakra
3. Manipura — Solar Plexus Chakra
4. Anahata — Heart Chakra
5. Vishuddha — Throat Chakra
6. Ajna — Third-Eye Chakra
7. Sahasrara — Crown Chakra
It described Chakra Sadhana (spiritual practice of the chakras), Pranayama (energy activation through breath), Visualization & Concentration (Dharana), and the use of mantras (sound vibration). Each chakra has a bija (seed) mantra that resonates at a specific frequency; chanting these mantras—aloud or silently—purportedly activates the energy centers:
• Root: LAM (लं)
• Sacral: VAM (वं)
• Solar Plexus: RAM (रं)
• Heart: YAM (यं)
• Throat: HAM (हं)
• Third-Eye: OM (ॐ)
• Crown: Silence or OM
It also mentioned yoga asanas to open different chakra channels and absorb spiritual energy.
Practically, the page noted, achieving this is a one-in-a-million feat because absolute concentration is nearly impossible. For Chaithanya, however—reborn and already enlightened—sensing and absorbing energy might be possible in ways normal humans cannot attain.
Reading all of this made Chaithanya's head spin. He took a deep breath to calm himself and began to study the concept of chakras and energy absorption.
