Chapter 1632 - Three... Two...

Sylas took a deep breath and exhaled, his expression a bit pale. He closed his eyes, knowing that he had won the first battle, but was likewise very much aware that he was running out of time to get to the second.

There were only about three hours or so until the next wave.

'An hour.'

Sylas took a seat on the Hollow Wing's back, continuing to take deep breaths.

Corpses of the members of the 040 Sanctum were littered around them—the last of them having been personally killed by him—while the vast majority had ended up leaving.

By now, he had definitely exposed the sheer amount of control he had over the Serpentes. But if he hadn't done so, he knew that he would have been screwed over. There was definitely no way he could have defeated two waves of Demons on his own without the 040 Sanctum as a shield.

Sylas' eyes flashed open after exactly an hour passed.
