In the dark shattered ruins, explosions thunder across the land.
Lars smashes through a rain of arrows with his fists, each punch splitting them apart midair. Kayle dances back, twisting past shards of ice conjured from Lars's floating wand. He lunges, fist whipping forward—she bends backward in a perfect arc, barely slipping under the blow.
Her wings flare, scattering sparks of wind and light as she launches a storm of arrows into the sky. Lars stomps to crush her, but the wings flap with divine force, deflecting the quake.
Inside his head, Lars growls:
"He's stronger than before."
Energy erupts from his fists in a flurry of blast punches. A few crash into Kayle, sending her spinning across the wreckage. He charges to follow—
—but arrows spear into his back and arm from above. He snarls, muscles flexing as the shafts crack and fall away. The floating ice wand glows faintly, struggling to mend him.
Slow. Too slow.
He eyes the wand, realization dawning.
"That shot from before… she took a part of Atheen's power away. No wonder."
Kayle answers with a shriek of wind—her arrow spirals into a drilling tornado.
Lars's eyes widen.
"You're aiming for my wand?!"
He rockets forward, snatching the tornado arrow with both hands. Purple aura coils around him, corrupting it, twisting the light into a raging purple storm. With a roar, he hurls it back.
Kayle slams her hand down. Energy roots tear through the ground, a colossal world tree surging upward to block the blow. The impact rattles the sky, its branches shedding a storm of glowing leaves. With a sweep of her wings, Kayle transforms them into a thousand razor blades of wind.
The storm cuts into Lars, dozens of shallow wounds opening as his wand struggles to keep pace. He tears through the trunk with a single punch, blasting the tree into fragments—only for it to scatter into radiant birds and butterflies.
For an instant, the battlefield shifts. He sees himself as a boy in a garden of flowers, his mother and Dustin smiling, a single flower in her hand. Young Lars crushes it without a word.
The memory shatters as Kayle kicks him in the face, flipping upward midair, releasing another rain of arrows. Lars blocks most, then drives a colossal uppercut skyward, clearing away the birds and butterflies in a violent wave.
The blast slams into Kayle, hurling her into the ruins. She coughs, summoning small plants to heal her wounds—
—but ice erupts from the ground, locking her feet and wings.
Lars's voice cuts through the frost, cold and venomous.
"Your image is a disgrace to the Platinumgrey family. I'll finish this execution myself, before you stain our name any further."
Kayle strains, shouting back with fury and tears:
"Is this the image you wanted for yourself?! Being father's shadow? Carrying his legacy to godhood?! You're not Father… you are Lars Platinumgrey!"
Her words strike deep. Lars gets angers but he then sees Kayle fainting in place.
He roars.
"Wake up! I won't allow you to die as an easy target—fight back!"
Suddenly—an arrow of lightning pierces his chest. No wound. No scar. But blood floods his lips.
He staggers.
"What…? No injury… but my inside…" His eyes widen.
"No... she struck my soul. of course she can spirit travel!"
More lightning arrows streak through him, and with each one he convulses, blood spraying as his spirit shudders.
Snarling, Lars focuses, his own spirit tearing free of his body. His spectral form catches the next arrows, shattering it with sheer power.
Lars lunges forward, seizing Kayle by the neck. He drags her across the jagged ground, dirt and stone tearing beneath her as she groans awake. With a roar, he slams her into the earth, cracks spidering outward from the impact.
"This ends now!"
His gauntlet glows, power thrumming violently as he charges a blast right at her throat.
Kayle, choking but forcing the words out, whispers:
"Mother… she said you at least tried… to be your own person. But Father… Father stole that from you…"
Lars freezes. His eyes widen. The glow at his gauntlet dims as his hand trembles.
The memory surges—back to the garden. A crushed flower in his small hand. His mother smiling gently as she places another flower in his palm as she then says
"Lars… don't be your father. Be yourself."
Young Lars stares at the flower, then at Dustin, laughing joyfully in a field of color. For once, the boy smiles too.
The vision twists—his head pounds. Lars stumbles back, clutching his skull.
"Stop it! Your words will not—"
Another memory sears through him. His father striking his mother, crushing her beneath his weight. Young Lars screams, shoving Dustin aside, charging forward. He kicks his father off—then roars—his fist shattering his mother's stomach, sending her plummeting through Oasis's layers, until she falls off from Oasis then into the waves below. His father's laughter echoes, praising him.
Lars snaps back, trembling, eyes wild.
"No… no way. That wasn't me…"
Kayle staggers to her feet. With a surge of wind, she looses a shining arrow. It slams into Lars's wand, trapping it in a vortex of air, its power cut off.
"Lies! All lies!" Lars screams, veins bulging. "Stop spreading false memories into my head!"
Kayle steadies her bow, her eyes burning with tears.
"You're in denial. Father's will clouds your thoughts, but in your heart… still has bits of Mother's will. You saved her that day."
Her voice breaks.
"Tomi saw her once in the commoner city… before she then quietly disappeared. She might even be watching us right now—crying that her sons are tearing each other apart."
She fires another storm of arrows.
"Shut up! Not another word!" Lars bellows, unleashing a hurricane of punches and kicks, each exploding in radiant blasts. The battlefield erupts in thousands of detonations, shockwaves flattening ruins.
Arrows cut into his flesh. Blasts scorch Kayle's body. Neither slows. Neither yields.
An arrow pierces each of Lars's gauntlets and boots, pinning them in bursts of light. At the same instant, his blasts shear through Kayle's hair, clipping her ear, shredding her wings of energy.
With a snarl, Lars summons the Power Dragon's core, his body glowing with a brutal surge. He winds up, hurling a haymaker charged with crushing energy blast.
Kayle plants her feet, raising her bow to block. The blast tears at it, splintering the weapon apart piece by piece.
Roaring through the strain, she calls forth the Bio Dragon's core, energy flooding her veins. The arrows lodged in Lars's gauntlets and boots ignite, detonating with a chain of fiery bursts.
At the same instant—Kayle's bow shatters in her hands. The blast hurls her through the rubble.
Lars crashes to the ground, his gauntlets and boots exploding apart in violent flashes.
Both warriors lie broken, weapons destroyed, smoke curling from their battered bodies.
In the dark lands, the raging war tears apart the battlefield as countless golems and dark monsters fall in pieces. The diamond dragon and the robotic dragon thrash against writhing towers of black worms that coil around them, pinning them in place.
Nox raises his hand, eyes burning with focus. The shattered fragments of fallen golems lift from the battlefield, swirling like meteors. With a sharp gesture, he fuses the fragments into Gaia's robotic dragon, reinforcing its armor and limbs.
The dragon breaks free with a roar, exhaling torrents of blue flame straight at the Dark Lady perched upon her twisting tower of shadows. But the flames twist midair, corrupted into black smoke. From the ground and the torn sky, countless pillars of darkness spear into the robotic dragon, hammering it down.
Gaia ejects from the cockpit, her arm blazing into a radiant blade. She dives straight through the storm and drives the blade into the Dark Lady's chest.
The Dark Lady grins, unfazed, and hisses,
"Darkness was the start of it all. And all will return to it."
Her words summon a swarm of shadow worms that coil around Gaia's mecha suit, tightening with bone-crushing force.
Nox surges forward, diamond shards swirling around him. He hacks through the worms with violent precision, then dives, driving his shovel into the Dark Lady's stomach. A violent eruption of rainbow lightning bursts from the impact, tearing across her body.
The Dark Lady laughs through the pain. She stretches her arms wide as a massive sphere of compressed darkness expands outward, engulfing both Nox and Gaia. The worms close in like a suffocating sea, dragging them under.
But from above, the rainbow dragon roars. It unleashes radiant cords of light—twin rainbow ropes that lash down, wrapping around Nox and Gaia. With immense force, it yanks them free of the abyss.
Gaia crashes back into the cockpit of her robotic dragon, sparks flying as systems reawaken. Nox slams onto the diamond dragon's back, gripping tight as both dragons roar once more, ready to rejoin the battle.
Gaia's mecha mask splits open with a hiss. She leans forward, gagging as thick strands of dark worms spill from her mouth onto the console. Shaking, she wipes her lips and forces herself back into the main seat of the cockpit. Her hand slams onto the controls, sparks dancing across the panels.
"What's taking Gilga so long?!" she growls, eyes burning as she steadies her grip, readying for the next strike.
Meanwhile, in the vast digital world, Taeo and Gilga work side by side. Thousands of glowing hands of code spin through the air, assembling machines at blistering speed as endless blueprints flash across a wall of digital screens.
Taeo's fingers blur across his keyboard. "Gaia's complaining about you," he mutters without looking away.
Gilga's eyes flare with streaming lines of code. He hammers the keys so fast sparks trail from his fingers. "What?! How dare you! You cheated, and now you expect me to be faster?! Your so-called great plan is a monstrous job to do along side with the grand plan!"
Their words only push them faster. Digital hands accelerate, weaving circuitry and binding frames as blue light pulses between the screens. Gilga roars, his pupils flooding with cascading numbers. He doesn't stop at his hands, even kicking his shoes off as his toes slam against another set of keyboards, typing in sync.
Massive machines rise as the digital hands are crafting them, a dozen of digitals hands then surge through portals into Taeo City. Some digital hands stretch outward, pressing against the city's barrier, siphoning raw power it's sun power. Two digital hands then whirls into golden spirals, splitting and darting in different directions.
Finally, Gilga smashes a final key with his toe. The entire system shudders. "Done!"
Taeo leans back, eyes wide with awe. "Incredible. You've also done enough for the grand plan—leave the rest to me!"
Gilga then dives through a portal, landing in the streets of Taeo City. Hopper and the twelve Beacons of Light step out of a nearby tower to meet him.
Gilga's mecha suit flares into existence around him as he spreads his arms wide. A storm of raw data coils and spins at his command, reshaping the air itself.
"Alright! It's time—everyone, get ready!"
The streets rumble as his Data Conversion Field ignites, pulling fragmented code into solid form. Endless data streams gather, bending reality itself as massive machines are spawning in digital coding.
Meanwhile, a golden digital hand cuts through the darkness, streaking across the land. It reaches the surviving Stars, their bodies blazing with light auras as they struggle against endless dark monsters.
The hand hovers in front of a teenage Star. He reaches out, fingertips brushing its glow. The moment he makes contact, the hand explodes into a torrent of golden data code. Waves of light surge outward, expanding it's sun aura until every Star is wrapped in its brilliance. Their power multiplies—monsters fall instantly under their blades and beams.
The teenager Star gasps as he spots something vast forming from raw pixels of data. A massive cannon emerges, its frame solidifying from light. He lays a hand on it—his eyes flood with code, glowing bright.
"Everyone, follow my lead!"
He says with confidence, the rest of the Stars rush forward. One by one, they place their hands on the cannon, their bodies breaking apart into radiant data pixels. Each of them is absorbed into the weapon as it charges with unbearable power.
Far away, another digital hand streaks across the void. It dives into the colossal world-tree, breaking through bark and branches until it reaches Ortis, Yuri, and the others within.
Yuri raises his voice.
"Anyone still willing to fight—to save our world—join us now!"
The data around the tree shimmers, splitting it open, and causing it to glow with intense light. A massive cannon materializes within its core. Yuri and Ortis step forward, pressing their hands to its frame. Both are instantly converted into digital pixels, their energy streaming inside.
The Son of the Moon steps towards the other Stars and his people, solemnly nodding his approval. Stars and natives alike rush toward the cannon, vanishing into light as they are converted into data.
Corvex smirks, rolling her shoulders.
"I'm tired of hiding anyway. Let's have some fun."
Her body erupts into streams of glowing data, flowing into the weapon.
Meanwhile, in Taeo City, yet another cannon comes to life, its scale even larger than the others. Hopper and the twelve Beacons of Light step forward together, dissolving into pixels that fuel its power.
At the center of it all, Gilga spreads his arms wide like a conductor before an orchestra, weaving the flow of data. Streams of light respond to his every movement, spinning in harmony with his will.
"Taking sun power from our barrier will weaken it," Gilga warns, his voice booming across the space. "I'll hold it up myself to keep the darkness from leaking in. But for the rest of you…"
He lowers his arms, smiling with fierce pride.
"…Godspeed."
At that very moment, all three cannons ignite at once—Taeo City, the World Tree, and the distant land.
Beams of unimaginable power burst forth, each cannon roaring with the voices of countless souls fused within. The energy lances tear through the void, streaking like three blazing suns beams across the dark world.
They tears through the sky at the speed of light, carving a radiant path straight toward the Dark lands.
