In the Dark Lands, the diamond dragon and the robotic dragon are slammed aside by massive pillars of darkness.
Dark monsters swarm in, crawling and tearing at diamond scales and grinding through robotic gears. On the diamond dragon's back, Nox commands the fallen golem stones and shattered armor to whirl through the air, smashing into the lunging beasts. His shovel flashes with rainbow lightning, cutting down anything that dares approach.
On the robotic dragon, claws rip through its plating, exposing the cockpit. Inside, Gaia unleashes a blinding energy beam from her mecha's palm, vaporizing dozens.
"We can't hold them off for long!" she shouts.
Suddenly, streams of fiery orange light streak into the battlefield. Explosions erupt, lighting up the black horizon. Crank, Vel, Jen, and Tomi lead an army of empowered natives, their bodies burning with Ignis's orange flames and Boa's yellow aura. Together they charge, cutting through the horde in a storm of steel and spirit.
From above, the Dark Lady's voice shakes the land.
"It is already too late! The world is already mine!"
Her body swells with shadows, warping and twisting until her form becomes monstrous. She merges with the dark sphere encasing the planet. Massive pillars crash down from the sky, plunging the already bleak land into pitch black.
Then, from the sky, a colossal figure emerges—half the body of a Demon Lady, her form stretching as large as three cities combined, staring down at the world. Her roar echoes across the world, waves of deeper darkness spreading in all directions.
The robotic dragon and diamond dragon circle each other, their powers entwining in a spiraling storm of radiant light. With a synchronized roar, they launch their combined attack straight at the towering demon.
The Demon raises her enormous arm and slams it against the spiral blast. The collision shakes the world.
Both dragons strain, their wings beating furiously, Gaia and Nox screaming with everything they have, pushing the spiral of light forward.
But the darkness is too dense. The attack barely pierces into the Demon's palm. Still, they refuse to relent, roaring and forcing every ounce of their will into the impossible clash.
Suddenly, three colossal sun beams streak across the world into the Dark lands, splitting into countless radiant streams. From each beam, bodies emerge—formed out of shimmering data pixels, reforged in light. Some beams crash straight into the dark lands, annihilating hordes of monsters in blinding explosions. Most surge upward, piercing into the giant Demon's body.
Sun explosions ripple across her form. The world shakes as the Demon howls in pain.
Gaia and Nox keep pushing their combined spiral, refusing to let up.
"They have arrived," Nox mutters, eyes flashing with determination.
Gaia looks up and sees them—Hopper, Ortis, and Yuri, streaking in like meteors of light, adding their strength to the clash. On the other side, the young teenager Star and Corvex fly in as well, their auras blazing, pouring everything into the strike.
Together, they unleash their power.
The Demon's colossal arm cracks, beams of light searing through the flesh of darkness. The rays travel deep, stabbing into her chest until they reach the heart. With a thunderous roar, the Demon's body detonates in a cataclysm of radiant fire.
The dark sphere around the planet splits open, and for the longest time, they see space—clear, beautiful, filled with stars.
Relief floods them all. Smiles break through exhaustion.
But it lasts only a moment.
The wound in the sphere heals, swallowed up by shadow. The sky twists, and suddenly dozens of massive shapes crawl forth.
All around the world, titanic figures emerge—the upper halves of countless Dark Demon Ladies, each one as massive as the first, their forms writhing as they roar in unison.
Nox become worry.
"Our percentage just dropped to zero."
Gaia grips her controls, her voice sharp.
"Time is all we need! Continue fighting!"
The sky erupt in chaos. The heroes surge forward, but the Dark Demons attacks are like an endless tide waves of an unbeatable force. Sending them all crashing into the Dark lands. Each Demon then unleashes colossal blasts of darkness all around the world, the darkness of pitch black spreading across the world like wildfire and even faster than before.
Meanwhile, in the dark ruined lands, Kayle stirs awake, clutching her bruised stomach as blood drips from her lips. She coughs hard, forcing herself upright despite the pain. A noise catches her ear—across the rubble, Lars also drags himself up, blood running from his mouth, arms, and legs.
They lock eyes. No words. Only rage.
Both roar at once, surging forward. Fists collide, kicks whip through the air, parries and counters flow like a violent dance. Their strikes crack the ground, echoes of a battle they once knew in their younger days.
Kayle sees the younger Lars in Lars's movements. Lars sees the younger Dustin in Kayle's burning determination. Elbows slam, knees clash, spinning strikes tear the air. Finally, both hammer each other's face with a devastating punch—knocking them out cold, yet somehow, both remain standing.
Their bodies move without command. Even unconscious, their fists fly. A strange rhythm begins—some blows jolt them awake, while others blows knocks them out again. Consciousness flickers, reality blurs, until only willpower and muscle memory remain.
Hallucinations rise.
Kayle sees her mother's face and herself burning with vengeance as she fights against a younger Lars and Zion.
Lars sees himself falling towards the ocean, where Dustin and his mother wait with open arms—but a cloud of darkness drags him back up into the sky, choking him, erasing the memories of the garden and the memories of him saving his mother. Only his father's will remains inside of him as he can see his father offering him a hand to the bright Godhood above the sky.
A crushing strike brings them both back. Lars snarls through his fist:
"No more lies! The only path forward is Godhood!"
Kayle shouts back with a vicious kick:
"This is for everything!"
Time slows.
Lars sees flashes of his endless training, desperate to earn his father's approval.
Kayle sees her sleepless nights, haunted by nightmares of his exile.
Their final blows near collision—when suddenly, a blast of darkness tears from the sky. The land floods with darker shadow, pitch black devouring all.
They dodge instinctively, but more darkness falls, scorching their skin. Darkness clings, burns, consumes—yet still, they continue to fight, even being swallowed deeper into the pitch black abyss.
Meanwhile, in the dark lands, Crank and his team cut down the last of the shadow-born monsters. Their victory is short-lived—the pitch-black tide swells and surges, devouring them. In the blink of an eye, the wave of darkness consumes all.
Nox roars, fighting against the abyss with every ounce of his power, but even he begins to sink beneath it.
From her cockpit, Gaia sees Ortis's face—his hand reaching toward her window—as the flood sweeps him away. She slams her mecha controls, but darkness crashes through the cockpit walls, clawing at her until she too is swallowed.
Far away, in Taeo City, the sky itself fractures. The barrier shudders, cracks spreading like lightning as darkness leaks through, pouring into the streets.
Gilga launches into the air, digital light flaring around him. He spreads his code like wings, patching breaches in the barrier.
"This is bad!" he bellows, straining as black waves climb higher, consuming buildings from below. People and Stars rush to rooftops, but the flood rises—low towers vanish in screams, even high ones are not safe. Gilga roars, holding the barrier as long as his body allows.
In the digital world, Taeo hammers at endless keyboards with phantom hands. Suddenly, black tears rip open across the realm, darkness seeps in. Taeo summons entire fleets of digital hands to stitch the rifts shut, sealing them as fast as he can.
Meanwhile, in the eastern village, Prekayda stares up. The sun above them flickers like a dying flame, light dimming as the barrier falters.
Ignis bursts forth, his fire igniting the sun. His blaze forces the cracks closed, holding the sun together with sheer will.
"This darkness… it's too much!" he gasps, veins glowing with molten strain. "I can't hold it for long!"
Boa steps forward.
"Thanks to Crank's magic, we manage to recover enough," he says gravely. "But I can barely sense the souls across the world—they're fading into the dark. I have to help them."
Ignis clenches his fists, flames surging.
"Then take half my power! Hurry!"
Boa shakes his head. "If I take it, your barrier won't last."
Ignis yells back, fire bursting from his chest.
"Then make it worth it! Move faster—reach them before it's too late!"
Boa closes his eyes, nodding. "Alright. But even if Gaia's plan succeeds… if her friend destroys the darkness, it may already be too late. I'll do whatever I can to keep hope alive until the end."
Ignis thrusts his fire into Boa's chest, empowering him. Flames roar, wrapping Boa's body as he kneels, sinking into spirit meditation. His soul bursts free, blazing like a comet.
He soars into the abyss, chanting a prayer:
"I speak for the will of the universe! Spread through the void and touch every soul! Keep their light alive! Hold on—this is our only chance!"
His aura detonates into a galaxy of light. Trillions of sparks—souls—erupt across the world, burning within the darkness. Reaching to the bodies are that are consumed by the darkness, keeping their spirits burning bright as long as possible.
Boa streaks toward the dark lands, but the darkness here are denser, resisting his advance. Souls flicker around him, faint and trembling.
"I need to reach her…" Boa mutters, pressing forward. His spirit burns hotter, fighting the tide. "Only she can buy us more time!"
Meanwhile, in outer space, Rose finally completes her absorption of the Sun's power. The sun flares, releasing a scorching heat wave that propels her forward like a divine rider of fire. She streaks across the void, closing in on the planetary dark sphere.
But before she can reach it, the sphere stirs. Two figures emerge, cloaked in shadow, streaking toward her. As they draw near, their forms solidify— the Dark King and Dark Lars.
Rose roars, hurling herself into battle. They clash, each blow triggers colossal explosions, lighting space with a thousand suns.
Meanwhile, Boa drifts through the abyss, searching. He spots a dim flicker—a soul barely holding on. One of his own spirit fragments is keeping it alive.
He reaches out, touching the faint soul, pouring his power into it. The spark flares, reshaping into the form of Vel's spirit.
Vel gasps awake, spirit eyes wide.
"Everyone is dying," Boa says urgently. "Only you can keep their spirits alive. We're so close."
They both look upward. Through the cracks in the darkness, beams of light flicker—explosions from Rose's battle above, piercing the void.
Boa steadies Vel with a hand.
"I've empowered you. Your voice can reach the entire world now."
Vel closes her eyes, breathing deep. Then, she begins to sing.
Her voice is pure, resonant, overflowing with charm magic. Each note blooms into glowing symbols—magical notes that ripple outward across the world. Every lyric carries beauty, courage, and conviction.
The song travels through every soul. One by one, the dim lights flicker brighter. Even as their bodies drown in darkness, their spirits refuse to fade. Vel's song binds them all together as each soul also sings along with her. The world sings against the dark.
Rose clashes with the Dark King in the void of space but through it all, she hears Vel's song—carrying across the cosmos. One voice becomes many as everyone's spirits harmonizes with her, their voices imbued with strength and conviction.
Encouraged, Rose burns brighter. Her attacks incinerate the Dark King, leaving only ash drifting in the void. Without pause, she dives toward Dark Lars, consuming him in a single, searing strike.
Rose approaches the planetary dark sphere, but suddenly a half-body Dark Demon Lady emerges, towering, half the size of the planet itself. She roars and crashes into the demon, causing millions of sun-powered explosions across its dark form until she crashes against the dark sphere.
The impact tears the dark sphere itself, light pouring through the cracks, burning the shadows that had plagued the planet. Rose roars again, charging, smashing the darkness with every ounce of her energy. Vel's song continues, louder than ever, harmonized by every awakened soul.
With one final, radiant push, the dark sphere shatters. Light floods the world, burning the darkness from the lands. The dark lands transform into a pristine white expanse, the tears in the sky sealed shut. Vel's final, soaring note echoes across the world, awakening everyone to the brilliance around them.
The survivors stand in awe. Vel rises, her song spent but her aura radiant. Respect and gratitude flow from everyone around her.
Rose crashes onto the white land, her body frail, glowing like an overused light bulb. Gaia rushes forward, tears in her eyes.
"Rose!" she cries.
Rose weakly smiles.
"I wanted to cruise the Star Games with you… but… this looks like the end for me."
Gaia, Ortis, Hopper, and Yuri gather around, tears falling freely. Gaia takes her hand.
"You did great, Rose… you impressed me the most. A true noble, a true friend… I will always remember you."
A single tear rolls down Rose's cheek. Her body fades into shimmering magic dust.
Nox steps forward, solemn.
"She knew it would take more sun power than her body could endure. She gave everything… to save us." He bows, paying his respects.
But the world's peace is short-lived. In the distance, the weakened Dark Lady walks through the white land, every step turning the ground grey. Her eyes flicker green.
"Please… end it all… the will of darkness is still inside me…"
Jen rushes forward for the finishing blow, but the Dark Lady's eyes flare black. A web of darkness lashes out, hurling Jen aside. Stars and natives charge, only to be thrown back by her dark waves.
Crank shifts into panther form, biting at her, but she releases a surge of dark worms, pushing him back. The Dark Lady strikes with deadly precision, knocking Tomi down.
As her darkness wanes, she summons a dark spear, thrusting it at him with her final strength. In the last instant, Vel intercepts, the spear piercing her own stomach. Blood splatters onto Tomi, shocking all who watch.
The Dark Lady's form fades into dark magic dust.
