The dark spear dissolves from Vel's stomach, leaving a gaping hole. She stumbles, blood dripping, and collapses into Tomi's arms.
Tomi's eyes widen in shock.
"Why? We're not even from the same planet… why would you save me? Don't you want to win the Star Games? Why would you—"
Vel cuts him off with a weak laugh.
"Oh… shut up already…"
Tears begin streaming from those around them. Tomi's voice trembles, his eyes wet.
"In the history of the Star Games… no Star has ever sacrificed themselves for another Star from a different planet. The whole point is to win for yourself. I don't—"
He stops. In Vel's fading eyes, he sees only hope.
Vel smiles faintly.
"It's simple. You and Kayle saved me… so I had to return the favor. After everything we've been through… I believe you're the ones who'll win it all. Just… bring me back when you become God. Promise me you'll win…"
Her last words carry a surge of charm magic, piercing Tomi's heart. He watches helplessly as the light fades from her eyes.
Nox lowers his head, murmuring to himself.
"She couldn't see herself winning the Star Games… so she placed her bet on those who could so she can be brought back after. An interesting way to look at the Star games."
Sorrow ripples through the Stars. As it is a heavy loss for them to lose Vel and Rose.
Nox raises his voice.
"Enough! Her charm magic still lingers in your hearts, focus on your self as you are your own Star. The main goal remains—survive the Star Games. We only have six hours before the final wave of doom arrives. Prepare yourselves."
The Stars wipe their tears, forcing themselves into focus. Gaia is then lifted by her team as they fly away. Crank also leads his group away.
Nox stays behind, conjuring earth magic to bury Vel with quiet respect. He glances at Tomi.
"Don't you have someone else to worry about?"
Tomi wipes his tears, his voice steadier.
"You're right… I must return to Kayle. But still… even if it was just her charm, we had our moments together."
He remembers Vel on the submarine, exploring the dungeon, her laughter, her compliments, her stubborn courage. With a heavy heart, he walks away.
Nox stretches, shovel on his shoulder.
"Well, that's done. By now, my team should be close enough to finish the escape project."
Before he can leave, a young Star approaches, bowing deeply.
"Hello, sir. My name is Hans Becker, from planet Waldera. I'd like to join your team… please."
Nox studies him.
"You're quite young to be in the Star Games. But do what you must to survive. I don't mind another set of hands."
Hans's face lights up as he hurries after Nox.
Then Corvex steps forward, her tone sharp but her eyes curious.
"Throughout all my adventures in the galaxy, I've never met a man like you. Everyone around us mourned for the loss, but you stayed calm. Focused. Not even a flicker of grief when your close comrades died for your sake."
Nox shrugs, resting the shovel against his shoulder.
"I didn't influence them. I had no feelings attached."
Corvex smirks, intrigued.
"I see… then I, the great Space Lord Corvex, announce my alliance with you. I need men like you so I can reach the final stage of the games."
Nox walks on with Hans, saying nothing. Corvex lingers, smiling slyly.
"No man in my life has ever played this hard to get…"
She follows quickly after him—her tone demanding, her heart betraying a spark of something else.
In the ruined lands, Kayle wakes to a single raindrop falling onto her face. She pushes herself upright, eyes stinging from smoke and rain, only to see Lars lying unconscious nearby.
Her fingers tremble as she summons an energy arrow, holding it with deadly intent. She raises the glowing shaft toward Lar's chest—ready to end him once and for all.
But just as the arrow is about to hit, she hesitates. A memory flashes: the garden, their mother, and Lars smiling at her with a softness as the flower pedal flies around them. For a brief moment, the young Dustin inside her clings to that smile—clings to the hope that Lars could still change.
Kayle exhales shakily, lowering the arrow. Rain pours harder, dripping from her chin as she lifts her gaze to the dark sky.
"Father, I know you're watching… You and Lars have haunted me all these years since my exile. But this isn't the way I want it to end. Maybe your will still lingers in me. Maybe I did inherit some of your honor… even in revenge."
She turns away from Lars, leaving him behind as the storm rumbles. Her wings unfurl, carrying her across the shore and into the white skies until moments later she lands beside Tomi.
Kayle steadies her breath, then asks softly, "Where are the others?"
Tomi's silence is heavy. He lowers his head.
Kayle's throat tightens; she already knows the answer. She embraces him, whispering, "Alright, old man… I've never seen you like this before."
Tomi's voice cracks. "I don't know if it was her charm, but when Vel died, it felt like I lost you too."
Kayle pats his back gently. "Don't worry. I'm still here. We'll get through this together."
Tomi studies her, then asks carefully, "Did you finally do it?"
Kayle shakes her head. "No. It's far too soon for revenge. I want Father to keep his hope alive in his precious creation. When the time comes, I'll shatter that hope myself. He'll suffer the way I did."
Tomi nods grimly, understanding her cruel patience to make her father mentally suffer as much as possible.
"Are we going back to Nox's place?" he asks.
Kayle opens her mouth to answer—but suddenly, the skies ripple with magic. All across the world, words appear before the Stars:
"5 hours until the final wave of Doom. Escape Doom Planet, or survive the impossible to gain 10x points."
Kayle stares at the message, her lips curling into a sharp grin.
"No," she murmurs. "I'm going to show Father that a failure like me can outshine the son that is his perfect reflection."
In Taeo City, Gilga lies sprawled across a rooftop, chest heaving, letting out a weary chuckle.
"That was close…" he mutters.
With a hiss of steam, his mecha suit disengages, metal plates peeling away until only his exhausted form remains. Moments later, Gaia and her team return, stepping into the city's glow. Gilga approaches them, placing a hand firmly on Gaia's shoulder.
"Stay strong, noble," he says. "This is only the beginning of the Star Games."
Gaia nods, eyes steady, and together they step through a portal into the digital world.
High above, on the floating village, Hans and Corvex wander among an army of tireless golems, their heavy limbs carrying ores and materials with mechanical precision. The two step into Nox's chambers and stop in awe.
A massive shining core dominates the room, pulsing with radiant energy. It nears completion as Nox himself works with unwavering focus, weaving spells into the air. Newly mined ores float into his grasp, fusing into the core with a surge of blinding light.
Hans swallows nervously, glancing at Corvex.
"Uhm… Lord Corvex," he says quietly. "Are you considering surviving the impossible?"
Corvex doesn't take his eyes off Nox. "No… I'm only interested in being with this man."
Hans scratches his head. "Well… I'd do it if I could. But no one else is crazy enough, and my small brain of mine couldn't come up with a plan that would even survive the impossible anyway."
In the eastern village, Boa steps out of his building and is met by the sight of the entire community gathered—villagers, Prekayda, Crank, Jen, and even Ignis. He raises his voice, steady and commanding.
"Everyone, celebrate with all your heart. This will be the last time we gather here. I must collect as many fallen souls as possible… and when that is done, I'll carry you all with me."
Prekayda bows deeply, and soon the whole crowd follows in reverence.
Boa moves to the center of the village, sitting cross-legged upon the earth. His body glows as he enters spirit meditation. Energy birds burst from him in radiant flocks, spiraling upward as a massive energy world tree rises beneath him, its branches glowing in brilliant yellow and green. The tree lifts him higher and higher into the sky, light cascading across the village.
The people bow their heads in prayer, but soon laughter, music, and celebration swell. Food and drink are passed around, joy mixing with tears. It is a festival of both life and farewell.
Through the dancing crowd, Jen presses forward until she finds Crank.
"Have you done what Boa asked?" she asks firmly.
Crank gives a short nod. Beside him, glowing words appear in the air:
Task 1 – Completed.
Task 2 – Completed.
Jen turns her head and spots Ignis kissing a native girl on the cheek. As she watches, glowing words flicker at his side:
Task 1 – Completed.
Task 2 – Kiss 10/10 native people – Completed.
Jen exhales. "Alright. Everything is on course."
Above them, on top of the glowing world tree bursts with divine energy. A wave of spiritual aura rolls across the sky, and Boa's voice echoes everywhere, summoning the lost. Countless fallen souls emerge from all over, streaming into the branches.
Prekayda approaches Jen and Crank, a gentle smile on her face.
"It has been a pleasure walking this path with you," she says. "Thank you for fighting so hard for us. We will give our all… on the other side."
They exchange smiles, raise a cup of wine, and drink together in solemn joy.
Meanwhile, Ignis spins in a circle, dancing wildly with a ring of girls as music and drums shake the air. But mid-laugh, his eyes shift upward. He freezes.
In the sky above, a small circle glimmers—distant, unnatural. Slowly, steadily, it grows larger.
Far away in the void of space, a colossal planet wrapped in radiant God-magic hurtles forward. It is five times the size of Doom Planet, moving with unstoppable force—its trajectory aimed directly at the doomed world.
Back in the white lands, Kayle closes her eyes and releases her focus. Her aura erupts like a storm, shaking the ground as green winds whip around her. She summons her divine bow, its string humming with raw power, and begins drawing back a single arrow of pure energy.
Tomi looks up and notices the circle in the sky widening, growing brighter and more menacing. His face tightens.
"So that's the impossible…" he mutters.
Suddenly, the sound of countless footsteps rushes in behind him. Tomi turns around and sees a boy at the head of a gathering of natives. The boy's silver hair shimmers under the light, his eyes glowing faintly like twin moons.
"My name is Soma," the boy announces, his voice steady. "We are the children of the moon. We came because we could see the future… and in that vision, we saw ourselves here, standing on this white land, fighting back against the end of the world."
Tomi becomes curious and ask. "And did we survive?"
Soma shakes his head, expression grim. "My powers cannot stretch that far. But I saw one thing clearly—" He raises his hand and points straight at Kayle, still channeling her arrow as waves of life-energy burst outward around her. Birds, butterflies, grass, and flowers sprout in radiant waves, the land itself coming alive.
"She is the key."
Tomi glances at Kayle, his throat tightening. The sight of her, wrapped in light and nature's breath, makes the weight of Soma's words undeniable.
Soma begins to move gracefully, his body swaying in a slow, deliberate dance. Around him, his people drop to their knees, chanting and praying as waves of moonlit magic flow into him.
Tomi watches, stunned, as the ocean stirs violently. From the depths, massive fragments of the broken moon rise, dripping with saltwater. They soar into the sky, circling around Kayle's raging aura storm like colossal satellites.
Then, Kayle calls forth something even greater—her hands steady as she pulls from the storm itself. The Bio Dragon's core manifests, shining brilliantly in the sky, aligning itself with the path of her arrow. In the far distance, another glow ignites—the Power Dragon's core. Both orbs float in perfect alignment with her bow's aim.
Tomi's eyes widen.
"She must have snatched it away from her brother… during their fight!"
Soma's dance reaches its climax. The moon fragments orbiting the aura storm glow brighter before firing streams of grey light directly into Kayle, weaving into her body and the arrow she holds. The shaft begins to radiate in moonlight colors, shimmering with primal power.
Soma stops moving and places his hands together. His voice resonates with quiet certainty.
"We have offered our help. It is all up to her to save us all."
Above them, the orbiting moon fragments shatter into countless smaller shards. They scatter and spin into a vast circular formation in the sky, creating a pathway of stone and light that whirls endlessly. At its center, the Bio and Power Dragon orbs glow like twin suns, suspended in the spinning ring and guiding the arrow's destiny.
In the digital world, Taeo strikes the final key on his keyboard. A proud smile spreads across his face.
"The grand plan is finally complete!" he declares.
Before him, a magnificent spaceship's final piece comes into place, its sleek form gleaming in streams of data light. Gilga and Gaia stand awestruck, unable to hide their amazement at such a creation.
With a snap of Taeo's fingers, the ship dissolves into countless floating pixels, scattering like fireflies.
"The vessel will need some time to fully deploy," Taeo explains. "Once it does, it will automatically set course for its next destination—my home planet. I've already contacted my people. They'll handle everything from there. But before that…" His eyes glint with purpose. "…we must share this great news with the people of my city."
With another motion, a portal swirls open, its energy humming with power. Taeo steps through with his data pixels into Taeo City.
Gilga moves to follow, but pauses to turn back. Behind him, Gaia remains still, her gaze fixed on a digital screen. The projection reveals Kayle and her team in the white lands.
Gilga becomes more serious. "There's no way you're actually thinking about it, are you?"
Gaia doesn't answer right away. Her fingers glide across the air, opening a new portal. Finally, she speaks, her voice steady.
"I'm not going to leave him."
She then steps through the portal as it quickly closes.
Gilga exhales, shaking his head. "…And to think I once called you a noble."
