Chapter 4458 - Chapter 4458: The Ancestor of the Six Tailed Green Fox Clan

Chapter 4458: The Ancestor of the Six Tailed Green Fox Clan

The whole process went smoothly like storing materials or treasures, Lin Moyu easily sent both domains inside. Since he was the master of these domains, they had no resistance and cooperated entirely. If it were anyone else's domain, even with all his strength he wouldn't have managed it.

The Grand World and the Law Domain, along with his undead servants, all entered his storage space.

He checked his spells still worked fine, unaffected by the transfer.

It was obvious now that the storage space was a world totally separate from the Primeval Chaos Wasteland their laws were simply different, connected only by Moyu as a bridge.

He hadn't expected his spellcasting to remain unaffected; the scope of his power surpassed what he had imagined.

With both domains gone, this interstitial pocket space had served its purpose; chaos's grand laws automatically dissolved it. In a sound like breaking glass, Lin Moyu returned to the chaos.

The undying fire had burned out. That Six Tailed Green Fox of Great Completion was kneeling, waiting for Moyu to give further orders.

"What's your name?"

He answered quickly, still kneeling: "Reporting to Master, I am called Su Changqing."

Su?

Lin Moyu thought instinctively of the Heavenly Fox clan from the big world, also with the surname Su. There's some irony, since the Six Tailed Green Foxes and Heavenly Foxes are both foxes but fundamentally different one is chaos born, the other a typical domain race.

He had Su Changqing describe his clan being a high ranking member, Su knew plenty about both his own people and their neighbors.

As a reborn thrall, he answered everything in detail without prompting.

Just as Yin Da had said, both their clans had originated in the same domain, their natures locking them in perpetual conflict: the Silverlight Rabbits were always oppressed and bullied by the foxes. However, the rabbits bred swiftly, sometimes over a hundred to a litter, and were adept at hiding no matter the foxes' efforts, they could never exterminate them.

When their domain's lord broke into the chaos realm, he brought the whole world into chaos. Over time, all sorts of races and offshoots from that domain became chaos beings, with both foxes and rabbits soon producing chaos level descendants.

Even after leaving their original domain, the foxes clung to their old ways until they discovered that the rabbits had two invaluable powers:

The first was the ability to nurture domains, the second, an uncanny sense for finding other domains not yet merged with chaos.

Suddenly the foxes changed tactics from trying to exterminate the rabbits to keeping them as penned up resources. They branded a controlling spell into the rabbit bloodline, restricting them to a certain area escape meant death.

The foxes grew ever stronger, and the rabbits improved somewhat too, but always remained under the foxes' thumb.

Originally there had been dozens of races from that domain, with the foxes only mid ranked, but thanks to the rabbits' abilities, they surged to the top.

The other exiles understood the truth too late: by now, the Six Tailed Green Foxes were a force, boasting eight Perfections.

Even if the other clans wanted to band together, they couldn't match them especially not when considering the domain's original master, now one of the strongest Perfections of all, who could squash the others like ants.

Lin Moyu mused: "So you all serve a common master?"

Su Changqing replied quietly, "He's not really our master, but we all follow his orders. We call him Ancestor."

Lin Moyu understood immediately: if he tried to simply walk off with the rabbits, the foxes couldn't stop him, nor could any of the other clans but this "Ancestor" would be another story.

If it came to a fight, Lin Moyu wasn't afraid, but he didn't expect to have an easy victory either.

Better to avoid him, or make a deal, if possible.

He asked, "Does the Ancestor know the Silverlight Rabbits' ability?"

Su Changqing nodded. "Naturally; when we first moved into chaos and awakened our talents, Ancestor was already a top level Perfection. The rabbits' ability is useless to him now."

"But I do recall elders saying Ancestor always warned: pen up the rabbits, don't ever wipe them out, but also don't let any escape; be sure to keep guard."

By now Lin Moyu realized the situation was complicated.

Though that old Ancestor no longer needed the rabbits' abilities, it didn't mean he wouldn't want them around in case his own kin or friends needed them.

Essentially, he used the foxes as sheepdogs to corral the "livestock" on his behalf.

So if Lin Moyu wanted to leave with the Silverlight Rabbits, it wasn't going to be simple he might even end up having to fight.

He still preferred to avoid a direct clash with an ancient Perfection, one who had lived who knows how many ages but nor was he afraid.

After clarifying matters, Lin Moyu had Su Changqing follow him back.

He passed through the chaos, first encountering the Silverlight Rabbits clustered in a group.

The sight of Su Changqing filled them with panic the fox's aura brought instant fear.

Returning to Yin Da, the old rabbit puffed up with terror at the fox's approach.

Su Changqing, now just Lin Moyu's servant, made no sign; unless commanded, he'd not speak.

Unlike Ye Yangyan, he never took initiative just a silenced thrall.

Lin Moyu watched Yin Da's panicked display with some amusement; despite both being top chaos beings, Yin Da was so obviously cowed by Su Changqing.

Clearly, the rabbits were no fighters even with chaos power, they were easy prey.

In fact, if the foxes hadn't herded them as slave stock, the Silverlight Rabbits would likely have been extinct already.

Lin Moyu didn't explain, just ordered, "Lead the way take us to your home."

Yin Da hesitated, "Do we have to go?"

"If you'd rather not, I'll kill you and ask someone else there are plenty here who'll lead. Even Su Changqing probably knows the way."
