The king is a Puppet Master

The king is a Puppet Master, is a novel which follows the life of Aster Vald an ordinary man with a Ashal not particularly accepted by society. A Ashal is a power or skill which children were born with after the war of the Gods and subsequently their fall. In the year 2189, Earths Gods fought a war of power and control over Earth which ultimately ended in half of the Earth destroyed and all the Gods dead. With the death of the Gods the world underwent a change, because after they dead all their powers were absorbed into the earth, life changed, hence ushering in a new era of Ashals. Our MC is born with a Ashal called puppeteer which allow him to control humans and animals through his parasite. Because there are different types of Ashal in the world and not all a safe for society, the government sent those with dangerous ones to barracks at the edge of human settlements to fight animals with Ashals and defend humanity, sounds good right? Except they were treated like prisoners and a danger to society, being called hazards and not being allowed to go anywhere around ordinary people, being destined to die in the barracks. Tired and not accepting there fates, the hazards rebelled and tried to escape resulting in most of them dying. But because of Asters desire for freedom, a fracture in the place time continuum and an odd twist of fate he found himself in a different world.Now follow him as he uses his power to become a dictator and build a world he wants.
