Chapter 4460 - Chapter 4460: The Deal

Chapter 4460: The Deal

Lin Moyu's words left the four Silverlight Rabbit elders stunned they had no idea what he meant.

Even Yin Da was puzzled, "Daoist Lin, what do you mean by this?"

Lin Moyu replied, "I mean exactly what I said. I want to take all of you and the Azure Silver Grassland to a new place. There, I give you freedom, no more bullying from the Six Tailed Green Foxes, but in exchange you must help me with some things."

His proposition was deeply tempting freedom, no more foxes but he had made it clear: they'd have some obligations.

The chief elder didn't reject him outright and instead asked, "And what are these things you want from us?"

Lin Moyu answered, "I have several domains that need developing. I'll supply all the materials; you don't have to worry."

"And I promise once these domains are cultivated, you will be truly free."

Raising domains was their specialty, as Yin Da had said. Materials were the real challenge if Lin Moyu could provide them, it would be easy for the rabbits.

But...

The chief elder shook his head, "It's not that we don't trust you or appreciate your kindness, Daoist Lin, but this deal..."

Lin Moyu cut him off, "No need to decide so quickly. I know your concern is the Six Tailed Green Foxes, especially their Ancestor. I can assure you I'll settle that myself."

The chief elder looked at him doubtfully, as if to say, on what basis?

After all, Lin Moyu only appeared to be Minor Completion in the Chaos Realm, while the Ancestor was a top Perfection, just a step from the next level.

The second elder asked, "Daoist Lin, do you know the Ancestor's cultivation?"

Lin Moyu replied, "Yes, top Perfection, very close to quasi Supreme. In the West Pole, only the Supreme is above him."

"Then," pressed the second elder, "why are you so confident?"

Lin Moyu glanced at Ye Yangyan and said, "Because of him."

A faint aura began to emanate from Ye Yangyan, and it was the unmistakable pressure of a quasi Supreme.

Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang five sounds echoed as the four elders and Yin Da prostrated themselves on the ground, trembling beneath quasi Supreme might.

They could perhaps endure physically, but timidity conquered them completely.

If the pressure had been any stronger, they would have fainted.

"Does that explain my confidence?" Lin Moyu asked.

When Ye Yangyan withdrew his aura, they slowly recovered. The chief elder gasped, "Daoist Lin, you do have the power. But, to be honest, the deal still isn't easy for us."

"If there's anything else, tell me," Lin Moyu said.

The chief elder replied, "Truly, our bloodline carries a curse laid by the Ancestor. If we leave this place, a single thought from him can make us explode and die."

Yin Da was shocked to hear this, utterly unaware.

The chief elder nodded, "Only we four know. Years ago, the Ancestor sent us to help a friend's descendants raise a domain, allowing us to leave. But he made clear: if we left the West Pole, he'd detonate the curse."

"As long as we remain here, he controls us. Except for the Supreme, the Ancestor is the mightiest in the West Pole."

Lin Moyu asked, "What is the Ancestor's name?"

The second elder said, "We don't know but once we heard a friend call him 'Tianlang Daoist.'"

Tianlang...

Lin Moyu's lips twitched. "What are the odds?"

"Daoist Lin, you've met him?" the chief elder asked.

Lin Moyu nodded, "Once. Which makes this deal much easier if you agree, I'll handle the curse."

With his natural caution, the chief elder wondered, "Are you...close with the Ancestor?"

Lin Moyu quipped, "We met just recently and I gave him a beating."

They all looked at each other now Lin Moyu's plan made sense; a fight would settle things without politeness or negotiation.

But they were still worried about the curse something none believed could be broken.

The foxes' secret art was only for tracking, but the curse spelled certain death.

Lin Moyu gave the bottom line: "Well, do you want to bet? If you leave with me, you'll be free; if not, you'll stay slaves, living as penned animals for eternity."

He was ready for them to refuse if so, he'd just kill them all and take them as undead.

The elders still hesitated, but Yin Da understood the threat.

He dropped to his knees before Lin Moyu. "...Daoist Lin, I'll go with you. Release my curse, please!"

Lin Moyu smiled slightly, "There's a wise one. Resist if you can, and I'll break the curse."

He tapped his fingertip, and a thousandth of a drop of refined pure water appeared. With his formidable soul power, he willed it flawlessly. A full drop would have killed Yin Da, but this sliver was more than enough.

The drop struck Yin Da, instantly turning to mist and enveloping him.

He shuddered, great black miasma rising from his body the curse was woven into his blood and soul.

The mist crept throughout, deep into every fiber, and at last reached his soul, purifying every trace of foreign will, including the curse.

The purification went smoothly; on the verge of completion, Lin Moyu barked, "I'm sending you to a different place don't resist."

Yin Da obeyed utterly, letting Lin Moyu send him into the storage space.

Breaking a curse like this would certainly alert its caster; only by putting Yin Da in the storage space at the crucial moment could the connection be fully severed and cleansing completed.

Moments later, Lin Moyu brought Yin Da back, now without the curse.

Yin Da's eyes were wide and bright, full of excitement: "Daoist Lin, what was that place?"
