Chapter 4461 - Chapter 4461: Is Primordial Qi Really So Important?

Chapter 4461: Is Primordial Qi Really That Important?

It was rare to see the timid Silverlight Rabbits so excited. From childhood, they knew they were penned and lived under constant threat, growing up in perpetual anxiety. They wanted to resist, but were always too weak and only ended up smaller and more cautious as the eons passed.

Cowardice and caution had become embedded in their blood and souls, so even in their happiest moments, they would hardly ever be so exuberant.

But now Yin Da was uncharacteristically animated, leaving even the four elders deeply curious about where he had gone and what he had seen. What could have changed him so much?

Lin Moyu didn't reveal where he'd sent Yin Da. "The curse is lifted, and the Six Tailed Green Foxes' tracking spell is gone."

Yin Da nodded vigorously. "Thank you, sir."

He couldn't actually tell if the curse was gone it was usually unnoticeable but he could feel the foxes' tracking spell had definitely disappeared.

"Yin Da, step forward!"

The four elders summoned Yin Da to be checked in turn. Confirming his curse was broken, all four stared at him with astonishment.

Lin Moyu said, "You should know that with shared bloodlines, even if Yin Da's curse is gone, as long as someone in your clan remains cursed, the pollution will eventually spread back to him."

"So now you must choose: stay here as enslaved animals, or come with me and gain your freedom."

Before the elders could decide, Yin Da burst out, "Elders, say yes! Let's go with sir to his place... there... there..."

He said it several times, failing to find words to describe it, finally pleading, "Please, elders, trust me! We can change our fate, this is our only chance!"

He prostrated himself in a gesture of sincere supplication.

The Silverlight Rabbits had their own rituals Lin Moyu did not know them, but could see his sincerity.

Now the choice was with the four elders; if they chose to follow Lin Moyu, all would be well. If not, Lin Moyu was prepared to act himself.

He preferred not to use force, since the four elders were especially skilled at domain cultivation, and losing their talents would be a shame.

The four exchanged glances. Lin Moyu waited in silence, giving them ten minutes in his mind to decide. If they failed, he would make the choice for them.

Thankfully, the usually timid Silverlight Rabbits found some boldness. The chief elder eventually said, "Yin Da, rise. We agree but, sir, how will you proceed?"

The respect implicit in the title "sir" was obvious.

Lin Moyu replied, "Simple. I will first remove your bloodline curse. Then gather all your tribe, and I'll handle the rest at once."

"But if you cause a commotion, the foxes may notice; their surveillance is everywhere in our land. If they sense a problem, they'll alert the Tianlang Ancestor and he will be here in moments."

Lin Moyu smiled, "If he comes, I'll thrash him again. That's the worst case. I'll talk with him first if I can. But only if you follow me then I'll have my bargaining chip."

This was his plan: get the Rabbits first, then negotiate from strength, whether by talk or fist.

With the elders' agreement, Yin Da was the most thrilled. "Thank you, elders! Our tribe is saved, our fate can change!" His elation sprang from the brief sojourn in the storage space a sensation only he, and not even Lin Moyu himself fully understood.

"Now that you've decided, don't resist. I'll remove your curse."

He sent refined pure water into the four Perfection elders, using a bit more for their powerful cultivation. A drop split among them sufficed.

As the water turned to mist inside them, scouring out the curse in body and soul, Lin Moyu secretly messaged Little Tree and Chaos Child: "Why is Yin Da so worked up?"

Little Tree replied, "Probably the Primordial Qi."

Chaos Child was sure: "It's the influence of Primordial Qi, stirring his bloodline. He probably doesn't even realize it himself he's like this because of that."

Chaos Child knew best, having nurtured life in his own internal realm for ages.

Lin Moyu asked: "Is Primordial Qi really that important?"

Little Tree was certain: "It's vital. Only the very first beings born had it the later generations never did. Even a little is crucial, it's the very foundation of life. Whether a being has Primordial Qi sets its potential and upper limit.

We all had it that's why we're the top tier. There were some without, and they were weaker, their ceilings much lower."

Lin Moyu asked: "Do you two still need Primordial Qi?"

Little Tree answered, "Of course, but we're still recovering; only when fully restored can we absorb it."

Chaos Child added: "Primordial Qi is wonderful, but only if you can handle it. In our state, we're too weak if we forced it, it would do more harm than good."

This puzzled Lin Moyu: "If you two can't take it, how is Yin Da okay?"

Little Tree explained: "He's different. He's never had Primordial Qi before, so he can take just a trace and it will transform his roots just a little is enough to change his bloodline forever."

"With Primordial Qi, maybe the Silverlight Rabbits can evolve and leave their weakness behind."

Lin Moyu mostly understood. "One more question: When humanity appeared back then, did they have Primordial Qi?"

Little Tree replied, "Yes, plenty. Humankind was born in a domain, not directly from chaos. At first, humans were weak, not born strong but they could cultivate and rise, and eventually stood shoulder to shoulder with us."

"At that time, about a fifth of all Primordial Qi in the world went to humans not to individuals, but to the whole race. That's what set their foundation. Afterward, later humans didn't need any more it's already part of their bloodline foundation."
