ALEXIA P. O. V
"Alexia baby!! ,How you been" he yelled
"I hope you are aware that we are in a company and you are making a scene"I said indifferently
"Oh come on, you don't have to be so stiff" he jumped down from his car literally! And gave a kiss on my cheek
"You were back in city and you didn't even bother to call or check up on me🥺is this how you treat your best pal" he whined
This was none other than the famous Tyler well not exactly famous but famous for those who knows him he was yet again another prodigy in the Underworld but he never shows interest in the matters of the underworld but that doesn't mean he is good everyone knows him as the 'untamed lunatic' and I agree with them, he was the one person l feared most in this world behind those warm lovely brown eyes and smiles of his was a demon inching to be release.
You see me and Tyler are really good friends l have always considered him the big brother l never had, l met him when l was at the military camp he wasn't exactly a student l guess he was there for some business stuff.One day l was resting under a big tree after successfully hiding from training where a heard a ruckus not too far from me and when l look up lo and behold it was him bullying a new cadet over a lollipop a damn lollipop that wasn't even his, l was so pissed off that l walked straight up to him not knowing who he was obviously and yelled at him to let the lollipop go, he just stared at me then continue bickering like l wasn't talking to him, I don't have a good temper so l punched so hard he spat out some blood then got up stared me down again then smiled "you really think that little punch will do me any harm sweet cheeks, you are lucky l'm in a good mood or else l'm afraid these your cute cheeks of yours will have to pay for your recklessness" he gave my cheeks a hard squeeze then walked away, l was so confused and scared at the time and after hearing stories about him l kept my distance but somehow we still ended up friends.
"Says the guy who disappears and appears whenever he likes" I fired back
"Still holding a grudge?" He smirked
"No not really, you are not even worth my time"I said then started walking back into the company
"Ouch, you do know how to break a boy's heart" he faked being stabbed in the chest
"Ok hey, how about l make it up to you by taking you out for dinner this night" he said blocking my way
"Not happening,now move"I tried pushing him but he was so damn strong
"Come on, if you don't agree I with stand here and scream till you do" he threatened
I knew he could do that so I reluctantly agreed
"Aha I knew you would come aro...
"On one condition " I interrupted
He stared at me" take back all the flowers and banner back l don't need them, they are creating a scene"I said
"Aww, since when where you scared of a little scene" he teased
"I am not scared of a scene, this is a workplace not an arcade, is giving a wrong impression"
"If you say so My lady, pick you up at 11" he bowed then started walking away
"What normal person picks up a girl at 11" I yelled
"Oh, me and you know that l am anything but normal, see you later sweet cheeks" he winked then drove off taking his carnival with him
'idiot' I mumbled
"I didn't know a reputable company condone such silly things" I heard that all too familiar cold voice l have been trying to avoid these weeks behind me
I turned around "It does not Mr Slade,l assure nothing of the sort will happen again"I said
"I hope so or l will be forced to think that l am not working with serious minded people "
I strained a smile"if l may ask, what brings you here Mr Slade "
"I would like to have a report on the progress of the company and it's achievements so far"
I was baffled " Mr Slade have we make a mistake so far or is there something that is not up to your liking to have made you ask this" I inquired
"I just like to know the know the progress and achievements of any company l partner with, is there a problem with that?
"No there's no problem but I just don't understand what and why could have make you to have suddenly have think of this and even came here by yourself when you could have sent your assistant and moreover you have already signed the contract that means you are aware of its history"
*While Felix standing by the car*" I wonder what is making him behave like this we were supposed to be at the company by now but instead he made me pull over and wait,so unfair"
"Miss Williams, the things I do may be too difficult for you to comprehend so l would like you to do as l say and prepare the report and stop asking me useless questions that are completely unnecessary"
I was furious how dare he call me dumb
"Why say you want a report of my company when you could have clearly had said you came here to insult me"
"Does it bother you, l thought since you like badmouthing people behind their back you would know how it feels, l apologize if you are Indeed offended" he smirked
"I never could have thought that the all mighty Asher Slade could be so petty to have grace me with his presence for a silly statement a girl was making while eavesdropping another thing considered very rude. How shameless can you be?"I crossed my arms and returned the smirk
His eyes darkened at that
"Miss Williams is making the report going to be a problem?" He raised his eyebrows
"Not at all Mr Slade, expect my secretary to send it to you"I turned around to walk away
"Not your secretary, l want you to make the report"he said
"And why would I do that"
"Because I like working with an expertise and also the customer is always right"
"I can personally assure that Nadia is well up to the job and you won't find any fault with her and also you are not a customer but a partner"
"Same difference but No l want it to be you"
"Why?"
"Do l have to explain myself everytime I request something from here"
I could feel headache coming in if l continue arguing with him
"Very well then, expect it by tomorrow"
"I want it by 11pm sharp and l want it delivered to me to me directly" he turned around and started walking away
"What!! You can't be serious, l am busy then also that's almost midnight" I yelled
"Don't care" then he just entered his car and zoom off
Arrgh "how someone be so heartless, so inhuman, so cruel and a bully l can't stand him, dumb fool he didn't even tell me his address " any ounce of guilt l have been feeling towards him have been long extinguish
"Um.... miss is everything alright"Nadia inquired
"Everything is fine but l'll be heading home anything that needs my attention you can email it to me also send me the address of Mr Slade
"Of course ma'am but what possibly could you be doing with his address?"
"Something he will regret"I muttered under my breath as l fumed away from there
