CHAPTER 16
ALEXIA P. O. V
"Hiiiii" Clara squealed as the door flung open and Naomi, Allen Clara's other brother and a guy l didn't know walked in
"What are you all doing here" Asher asked and might l add NOT in a friendly manner
"Oh don't be all moody now, weren't you the one that invited us and geez why is this place is as depressing as ever there's no vibe at all and you call this a party?, must l teach you everything?" Clara fumed then walked over to the speaker to turn on the music then Allen came over
"You know, when Clara told me you invited us for a little get together dinner l thought she was being silly again but being bored l decided to tag along now I can understand why you put together this party" he winked at me
"And what is that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing "he shrugged at me then walked to his bar and took out some bottles of drinks and yelled "who's ready to party"
I could see the anger flash in Asher's eyes before it was replace with his Expressionless face that alone made me satisfied with myself l was about to walk away when...
"What did you do?"
"Me?... I didn't do anything" I feign innocence
"Don't play with me Miss Williams"
"Is something wrong Mr Slade, that your family decided to have a little party at your house besides you could use a little company what does it have to do with me? Now please excuse me"
"Here have a drink" Naomi handed me a glass of whiskey
"Hmm thanks"
"Seems like you are hitting it well off with Allen?" I teased
"is nothing" she blushed
"Nothing and yet you are blushing like a highschooler " she ignored me to face the other side
"Hey guys was up?" Clara suddenly appeared
"Naomi has a crush" I said
"No l do not" she countered
"Ohhh tell me all about him but first what is his name?"
Naomi and l shared a look
"What? Is he an assassin or a baker ?is it that shameful to say" Clara inquired
"Is your brother" Naomi confessed
"Oh.....oh ... ..." She was processing it
"But.. but why? Allen ...no offense is a player and l don't want something to come in between us " Clara said and l could understand her point and meanwhile my eyes scanned the room for Asher but he was nowhere to be found seems like he got so pissed off he left, ha!
"Are you guys up for the truth and dare game" a guy asked whom l still didn't know the name
"Hell yeah" Clara said then turn to us "we will discuss this later"
"Hey Alexia!, You playing?" Allen yelled
"Nah I'll pass" I wasn't in the mood for silly games but despite that l still at the circle they create for the dumb game
The game went on and on, there were laughter and joy in the air most of all drinks, l have drank so much alcohol l have lost count but I am still very sober, but Clara and Naomi faces were bright red
"We are down here having fun and the host is no where to be found" Allen said holding a bottle of whiskey
"Yeah someone go call him down" Clara chirp in
And then all four of them looked at me
"What" I asked
"Go call him" Naomi
"Why?"
"Because it isn't right for just the four of us to be here like this and the host isn't"
"I get that but why me?" There was silence
"Well... maybe because none of us are willing to" Naomi said
"And what makes me looks so willing"
"Nothing but we just feel like you should go do it "Allen said
"No" I didn't want to meet him what if he do something unexpected
"Fine l'll go but I really thought that you Alexia wasn't afraid of anyone but you proved me wrong toady, shame" Clara tempt me
"Who told you l was afraid of him, you just wait and see l'll bring him down here under 20 minutes" I boasted
"20? I could bring hjm down way less than that" Clara scoffed
"10" with that l hurriedly climbed up the stairs
"Such a big mansion for a lonely and depressed man" I shook my head no wonder he was a Robot. I open door to door looking for him but l didn't see until l reached a door at the end of the hallway,l opened it,by the looks of it seems to be his bedroom the walls were dark no designs,there was a large bed at the middle, then a large balcony was attached to his room where one could over look it looked peaceful, there were two other doors one l'm guessing to be his wardrobe while the other l think is his bathroom whatever l stepped inside because if he wasn't here then l didn't know where else to check.
"Mr Slade" I called out but it was pin drop silent
"Mr Slade" I called out again this time raising my tone but still there was no sign of a living soul there, l opened a door which from my earlier guess was correct it was a walk in closet, l search there but he wasn't there then l turned to the bathroom"I don't think is appropriate to go in there" I thought but I did it anyway
"Mr Robot" I whisper yell as walked inside the bathroom "maybe he isn't here after all"I murmured then turn around to head back to the party when all of a sudden l bump my head in front of a thing, l bump it so hard that l lost my balance and frantically reach out to hold whatever was in front of me, l felt a silk like material and tugged it so hard to prevent me from hitting the ground then l felt strong arms surround me just before I hit my head on the cold hard tiles behind me l looked up and...
