CHAPTER 21
ASHER P. O. V
We just pulled up at the race track when a familiar jade black hair girl ran to a man and link her arms with him 'seems to be that guy of the other day' I thought. Just watching both of them made my blood boil, the way her eyes sparkle when talking to him excitedly made me jealous, she had never spoken to me like that before l clenched my fist hard trying to control my wolf from walking over there and claiming what was mine
"Sir, they are waiting for you" Felix said
I closed my eyes tightly then walked away ' l have to stay away from, stay away from her, we should stay away from her' I tried reminding myself and my wolf
"So we should just watch as our mate gets claim by another and do nothing" Ethan my wolf snarled at me in my head
"Yes for now at least till we have taken care of our enemies or do you want something bad to happen to her? "
He was quiet
"I guess so"
"Mr Slade you are humbly welcome here, please please take a seat" a man in his fifties greeted me
"As you know Mr Storm my boss doesn't take kindly to time wastage so whatever you want to say I hope you say it now and get to the point" Felix said
"Yes of course, ben start the presentation" he ordered his assistant
"As you all already know the White's are currently making around the other groups by killing and blocking people at the border on their quest of claiming the underworld and is only a matter of time before they attack us by that maybe is already too late
"So what are you suggesting " Felix asked
"Well first to attack and kill them to show them who is the real leader around here"
"So we should cause an uproar"I spoke up
"What you want Garvin is Revenge because I know what the White's son did to your daughter and you know l won't refuse you but what you don't know is that anger leads to irrationality and irrationality leads one to make stupid ideas which will only end in bloodshed and more losses so l suggest you use your head" I warned
"Felix how many groups are involved in this" I asked
"So far all the groups, as the White's made it clear of their supposed domination other greedy groups also wanted the power so these past few months they have been at each other throats killing eachother mercilessly"
"What about Silver's group " I asked
"So far they have been neutral we have heard nothing from them"
"Hmm interesting" I stood up
"Since the White's haven't made any serious move towards us we shouldn't do anything yet but be alert, Felix send more security over all our outputs and send someone to teach the White's son a lesson but make it subtle" I instructed
"Right away sir"
That was the thing l liked in Felix, l have known him ever since I broke him out of an abandoned house where they trapped people and used them for experiment and since then not only was he loyal to me to his death but he was the only person who knew me best in the world and l trusted him with my life
I walked over to the big window displaying the track downstairs
"Seems like there's a race today" I said
"Yes Sir"
Why is she dressed as a Racer? was she going to race? This girl gets more interesting the more l know her"
"Where can I get the best view"
"Right this way sir"
The way she was dressed one wouldn't be able to know her but with enhance eyesight l could easy tell it was her. There are so many things I don't know about her which is very unlikely.
"Who are you Alexia Williams" I muttered
Soon the race started l thought she would be at least a little nervous but she looked so relaxed like she had done it before infact she's excited even. The horn blew and the cars screech away, l watched how relaxed and coordinated she was all the way each trials were gruesome and soon racers started falling back (dieing) 'why the hell would she want this deadly game'. At the end she and one other racer were left at the track, from the way the other racer look at her, he was livid
"Why does it look like that man driving the black car is angry" I asked Felix
"Well sir, from what l have heard before this man had been the running champ for 2 years now, and now someone from nowhere is threating his ego" he answered
"Which is very unlikely, the way this other person's drives is kind of the way Mysterious drive but we haven't heard from him since 3 years now" Garvin said
"Mysterious?"
"Yes, that was the name we give him since no-one knows his origin or where he comes from ,he simply just appear,race and leave we have tried getting him on our side and even bribe him with money which he refused but 3 years back he simply disappear, it was a pity" Garvin sighed
"But you might be wrong about that look" Felix said
I looked back down and found out she was headed for the Devil's teeth ' what the hell?' Felix said and that was exactly what was on my mind
' is she crazy no l know she she's crazy but does she has a death wish '
"Stop the race" I ordered
"What ?" They both looked at me confused
"I said stop the race" I shouted, I wanted to run downstairs when a screeching sound caught my ears l looked back down and saw she increased her speed and was headed for the Devil's teeth directly ' what was wrong with her ' she was mere inches from reaching the pointed end when she made a sharp turn and sped off l breathed a heavy sigh of relief but l guess l was too soon because I saw one of her tires loosening and soon it came off the car was swirling around in circles and was about to fall off the mountain but she quickly jumped out through the window but was hanging by the cliff. I couldn't watch anymore l ran downstairs and got into one the cars.
I was able to get to her a minute too late and pulled her up, and removed her helmet she looked shaken like she had seen a ghost
"Alexia,Alexia look at me"I frantically said
She stared at me but at the same time she wasn't looking at me she looked lost and confused
"You are safe now, nothing will happen to you" she nodded and then fainted and that was when l saw a huge bash on her head and it was already bleeding, the audience where coming and the cameras, if she wanted to keep her identity safe l wouldn't exposed her then so l carried her, and pull her face close to me so they won't capture her face, quickly got into the car before someone comes and sees us
